Several months ago I wrote about a "mariner" ancestor of mine and have found
out since then that he was a merchant sea Captain. Is there anyplace special I
can look to find out about captains and their ships in the US? I tried
rootsweb but their only mariner group deals with ships out of the British
Empire.
