Judas
in the 1910-30 censuses for me.? I'm looking for William and/or
Clarissa (Clara) Dewey. In 1900 they were living in Fork Twp, Mecosta
Co., Michigan. Clara was born Jan 1862 in Saginaw Co., Michigan and
William was born May 1873 in Canada. Trying to pin down an approximate
date and location they may have died.

In 1910, William J. Dewey, age 37, is shown as head of household, with
wife Clara, age 48, and mother Sarah A, age 59; Fork Twp, Mecosta Co, MI
In 1920, William Dewey, age 47, is shown as head of household, with
wife Clara, age 58 and grandson, Guy Gibson, age 18; Grand Rapids,
Kent Co., MI
1930 is not yet indexed for Michigan on HeritageQuest.

The wife in this household is Clara H., aged 38, born Jan 1862 in
Michigan, with both parents born in New York. Also in the household was
a daughter, Lena A. Gibson, aged 16, born July 1883, born in Michigan.
William Dewey is shown born May 1873, in Canada, which matches what you
already have. It also mentions that his parents were born in Canada,
and that Clara has had 4 children, with 4 of them still living.

This census mentions that Sarah A. Dewey was born in Canada, but her
parents were born in Ireland, and had 10 children, with 8 still living.
There is a date for when she immigrated, but I can't make it out.
William immigrated to the U.S. in 1885 and was naturalized. It also
indicates that this is Clara's second marriage, and that William's
father was also born in Canada.

This census shows that William immigrated in 1881 and naturalized in 1886

The census for this year is indexed at Ancestry, but I'm not finding
William nor Clara. Guy Gibson is still living in Kent County, a widower
with children. So far, the only online death records that I've found
for Kent County do not have William or Clara listed, so either the
records aren't complete, or the couple moved to another county before dying
