I have just aquired the original diary of Nathaniel Newton Wade who
sailed as a member of crew on the Barque Arabella from Gravesend,
England to Adelaide on Monday 26th January 1880.
Any ideas on how I can find out more about this?

My great-grandfather, TG Purvis, was on Arabella from June 1880 to Dec 1882, so I'd be interested to know more of this. He qualified as master in q887, but then became a marine artist (see wikipedia).
