Quake has been the king for a long time now, but now other Quake Clones
are entering the market (like Quake2). If you've got a good enough
system, try Quake or Quake2. If you've got a 486, try Duke Nukem 3d.

there is nothing that replace doom2 , but it's true that Quake is the spin
seria of doom .
