I think there is a map of the entire maze on a rug in on of the Bedrooms
upstairs.

Its been awhile since I solved that one but I think I can point you in the
right direction....keep going forward until you reach a T-section, then
turn right. From there, keep checking in a forward direction (even tho you
will have to eliminate several possibilities....) eventually there is
another t-section and I THINK any all of them go to the RIGHT. Sorry I cant
be more specific but the HappyPuppy Cheats Page has a link to the solutions
of all 7th Guest puzzles.

Now...if you solve all the puzzles and figure out how to get up into the
attic or thru the door in the kitchen which leads outside, let me know.
We've been stuck there for a week and a half.

Aha! There's your problem (said the mechanic as something expensive was about
to happen). That door won't open at all. (That would let the victims escape,
and we can't have that.)

Go into the front hall and face the stairs. Moving your cursor over the
stairs, you'll get an "interesting phenomenon" icon. Click on that, and
you'll enter the gallery. Through the carpet. Weird house.

There is a map of the maze on the rug in one of the bedrooms.  Maybe that will help.

You can't go outside at all.  If you're trying to get to the gallery the entrance is on the floor of the front hall.  When you've finished all the other puzzles the attic will become available to you.
