After finishing WC1 and the Secret Missions 1& 2, I installed WC2 and
tried to transfer my character from the Secret Missions 2. It wouldn't
let me, ane the message "no valid characters found" kept appearing. Has
anyone else had this problem? What did you do to make it tranfer your
character? Thanks.

I wonder if there's a bug in the SM->WC2 transition (as opposed to
the WC1->WC2 transition) because the Kilrathi Saga Secret Missions were
not going to be shipped with the rest of the game. If you can properly
transfer a character from WC1 at this time, then that is likely.
Otherwise, just make sure you're specifying the correct directory that
your SM2 files are in.

I also had this problem. Unfortunately the transfer program can only see
characters that have finished Wing1. It does not see any characters that
you use in any of the secret missions. In order to transfer your character
to Wing2 you have to use a pilot editor to move your character back to
venice. I can send the program to you if you like. I found it while I had
AOL access but I never could find it on the Internet.

I mailed Origin custumer service, and they told me none of the
SM or SO carachters can be transfered.
