Yeah, sometimes we do that - we think.
Anyway I was thinking about this achievement...
And I was thinking that if I were going to go for this achievement on
one of my toons...
My hunter would be the perfect one to go for it.
Hunters kill fast and furious.
Thye are noted for being somewhat nutsy.
Beside my hunter is named appropriately for the title.
Tazmaniaq the Insane
Or will it be
Insane Tazmaniaq
I just have to figure out how the hell to get to Exalted with the
Drakmoon Faire. I have never done anything with that faction.
I guess another tricky part will be trying to get to Exalted with
Booty Bay while also holding Honored with the Bloodsail Buccaneers
In the meantime i guess I'll be doing a lot of killing in Old
Durnholde and a few other places.
Some crazy runnign around Dire Maul also. Gads!
This is going to be tricky, but I guess with enough patience and
wherewithal it can be done.
It could sure be a nice distraction from some of the other more
mundane grinds in the game.
Three cheers for Insane in the Membrane
OH! OH! OH!

It'll be Tazmaniaq the Insane :-)

Darkmoon cards - collect the decks and hand them in, either epic decks
at the Faire for 350 rep each, or lesser decks (from inscription) can
be used to summon a handin NPC, those give 25 rep each. best bet is
have a character with inscription and make as many cards of every type
as you can, and scour the AH for cheap cards of every type, have a
nice large guildbank tab to hold them all and keep track of what you
need to complete your decks. And expect it to take a few months unless
you're willing to spend a LOT. Took me about 3-4 months I think, can't
remember exactly.
Oh yeah you can do other handins to the Faire for a little bit but
they stop giving rep after a little way into friendly so the majority
of your rep is coming from the decks. On the plus side, the trinkets
are boE nowadays (they used to be BoP) so you can actually make your
money back over time by selling them. I've still got a whole heap of
trinkets in the guildbank that haven't sold yet.
>I guess another tricky part will be trying to get to Exalted with
>Booty Bay while also holding Honored with the Bloodsail Buccaneers
Do Bloodsail first (I made the mistake of doing Steamwheedle first),
then spent time in Dire Maul freeing Knot - you can also get rep
killing pirates in tanaris or south of Ratchet, but Dire maul will
also get you book drops for Shen'dralar.

Certainly can be done but yes it will take a lot of patience - I'm
honoured Bloodsail and exalted Darkmoon currently but that's all,
Shen'dralar is getting there but librams and pristine black diamonds
cost the easth now so I've slowed down a fair bit there. Btw for
Ravenholdt you need access to a rogue to pickpocket a large number of
junkboxes to take you from revered to exalted - I think you've
mentioned your wife has a rogue? I've had to level an alt to do it,
since the boxes can't be auctioned so I can't use my alliance rogue to
get the boxes and transfer them over the nautral AH.

A friend of mine from work, a girl who always poked fun and some of us for
playing computer games and is NOT a gaming person started dating another
friend at work awhile back, who's an avid WoW player. She started playing
WoW with him to "spend time" doing something he likes with him, and she
still claims she only plays for Jonathan, not cause she likes playing.
That claim kinda became questionable when Jon informed me she'd gotten
Crusader title, on her own, got the albino drake, again, without his help,
and is currently working on getting the Insane title(she already has Honored
with Bloodsail, and she got THAT achievement while Jon was out of town...).
Kinda interesting for a girl that doesn't really play XD

"the Insane"

Turn in finished Darkmoon decks.

Dire Maul, I believe.
It will be this. A friend of mine has his achievement, and let me tell you,
it's not easy! The title fits his character name perfectly, so he felt he
had to do it, though.
Freeing Knot is repeatable?
If so how about the ogre suit? Can one keep repeating that to handing
in the suit parts and then not kill the king and repeat freeing and
handing in the suit parts?
Orion
>Yes, freeing knot is repeatable and so is the suit quest. Freeing
>knot can only be done once per instance though, suit can be done over
>and over again providing you have all the mats.
Yep, I make a lot of suits whenever I'm in there freeing Knot, I just
go in with a ton of runecloth bolts and tend to get a fair bit of
leather from the cache after freeing him - if I run out when I have a
skinner on my other account so just pull her in and wipe out some
packs of dogs. Think it's 75 rep per suit and 350 for freeing knot,
applies equally to all factions, so on a day where keys are actually
dropping I can make 2-3k rep in 1-2 hours quite easily. Bagspace
tends to be my main limiting factor, I've taken to parking an alt
outside to offload all boes to so I don't have to vendor them, and
that mammoth was the best 16k gold I ever spent for being able to
easily empty my bags between runs ;-)
The Bruisers are nothing at all until one gets Hated with BB then they
can spawn like crazy. One time I was in the middle of a lot of crazy
spawns and my son was afk. I actually got killed. Then he got killed.
So I parked him on the hill jsut outside the cave and he got rep while
he was afk.
My son wants to get the Admiral hat. I'm not sure if he has plans
after that. But I think he should come along with me when I work on
getting BB rep back otherwise he will never be able to do much in the
Steamwheedle Cities. I told him he can get more pirate clothes once he
gets to neutral and he likes that.
The thing about killing the BB bosses at the top of the inn. It seems
like it could be a battle working one's way up there. Maybe if one
flies in on the bird and starts from there, then they just have to
work through the upper area to get to them. I'm also wondering if each
of us should do it sepoarately and supply a healer for the hunters
seeing as how we both have one. The healer shoudl be able to heal the
hunter and probably not even get attacked. Might lose a little rep
while moving along but in the end it won't matter much, unless
something odd happens like as soon as the bosses are killed rep
skybombs down for the healers - I hope not.
After Hated is done there is not much rep to get through - 3K to
Neutral and another 3 K to friendly, that is a walk in the park. Then
from friendly to Honored should be quick and the Admiral quest gives a
lot of rep too.
Orion
Heh! That's why I am getting aj ump on this now because I forsee some
time spent down the road on some of the other phases.
It is also getting me away from some of the annoying Hodir repitition
dailies, I mean reputation dailies. I'm only doing 3 per day on two
toons right now and they are the 3 faster ones and with double boxing
they are twice as fast! So with the freed time I have sent my hunter
to Booty Bay to get rolling on this Insane adventure.
OH! OH! OH!
Orion
Are you *sure* you're not channeling Xolik? ;-)

Challenging Xolik? Oh wait, channeling Xolik.
Uhoh! I think I would rather challenge him than channel him!
Orion
My son's hunter made it to Neutral this morning and I was very upset
when we tried to go get him the 4 pieces of pirate clothing. WoWwiki
stated that the Avast ye Scallawag quest was available at neutral but
it looks like both Avast quest are available at Friendly. So he will
ahve to wait until tonight.
Given that he will make friendly tonight there is a good chance that
he will be doing the Avast ye Admiral quest tonight. I think I am
going to bring in my priest to heal him as he moves through Booty Bay
to kill the two Booty Bay "bosses".
Me - my hunter still needs a little less than 3K to get into Hostile.
My attention span will kick out after a bit tonight so I don't myself
getting to Friendly until tomorrow night. After about an hour in BB
killing Bruisers I have the urge to go to one of the other annoying
places in the game like Zul Drak and progeress through there before
bed.
Orion
From Neutral to Frinedly - 3 K rep
From Friendly to Honored - 6 K rep
From Honored to Revered - 12 K rep
= 21 K rep
@ 5 rep per kill
= 4,200 Syndicate Kills.
Well at least these guys die a lot faster than the Bruisers.
Solution - put pet on passive, run around and aggro as many as I can
into one spot and volley the piss out of them.
Will have to get my son to help, maybe both of them. The 6 year old is
level 42 and still might get a little XP for the kills.
Then I can park my hunter in the Hinterlands if need be and even help
my 6 year old there to get my mind off the Syndicate kills every now
and then.
For one week that would be 600 kills a day.
Geesh, no wonder they call this Insane in the Membrane
Orion
Hehe yep, I'm stuck in the middle of honoured currently, got kinda
bored of farming Durnholde Keep, really should get around to finishing
it sometime but my motivation kinda waned ;-)

You can also turn in junkboxes for Junkboxes Needed, but you
need a rogue to help since you only get them through pickpocketing.
The boxes can't be completely looted, but leaving 1 gray item works
(so I've read). I'm not sure if they can go on the AH since it's
a container/partly looted container.
75 rep for each 5 junkboxes.

My son's hunter now has the title "Bloodsail Admiral Huntarrnik". It
is also showing up as a Feat of Strength. When he turend the quest in
the screen got the Feat of Strangth flash much like it were an
achievement. His hunter still has a little bit to go to get to Honored
but should get that whilst teaming up with me to get me over the hump
tonight.
My hunter needs a little less than 4600 more rep to get the quest to
kill the Baron and Fleet Master. I should be leaving Booty Bay
sometime tomorrow morning Honored with the Bloodsails and I am about
at the end of my rope there.
Three cheers for Bloodsail Admiral Huntarrnik and soon to be Bloodsail
Damiral Tazmaniaq!
OH! OH! OH!
Orion
Better to wait till 11999 / 12000 Honored to turn in the junkboxes.
Since I can advance to there just by killing might as well deal with
the junkboxes later after the killing nets no more rep.
And my wife's rogue will be pickpocketing them for me adn also she
will be teaching me how play her rogue to get some for myself. I can't
expect her to hunt down all 1,400 Heavy Junkboxes for me.
