Addons broken in 3.3?

Assuming realms are up for you (anyone in game yet?) or you tried the
PTR, are any addons broken in 3.3 that you use?

If so, were there any without an update, and did you find a workaround
or replacement?

It is patch day. I will be stunned for 30 seconds if the realms are
back up on time.

Of course, they were already 15 minutes late when I posted that... So I
guess I am safe.

Carbonite 3.3 is out. The home page still says 3.23 but the download link
leads you to the 3.3 release.

Was getting ChatFrameEditBox errors: that was related to Ace2.0 framework
needing an update.

VanasKOS keeps popping errors about "Notification", so I disabled it.

Carbonite seems to work fine
Auctioneer works fine
Guild Craft Bank works fine
Gatherer works fine
Titan Panel works fine
Healbot works fine
Decursive works fine

Clique and Altoholic still seem to be working fine.

I ran WowMatrix and Curse Updater to grab half a dozen updates last
night. To my surprise, everything seems to be working fine -- even the
map addons I use...

Same, I've got one addon (AllPlayed) that's slightly bugged in that it
still works, I just can't move the minimap button... which I only even
noticed because Blizz moved the tracking icon so it's on top of my
AllPlayed button now. everything else appears fine after I doanloaded
the updates... although admittedly something made my petbar bug out
and hide behind the normal actionbars when I summoned my shadowfiend
earlier, not really sure what caused that though.

I found a bug in Altoholic that may not affect everybody. I posted a ticket
and patch at Curseforge. It looks like at some point in the past it was
storing AH times in seconds instead of an index into a table of auction
lengths, and my data file had big numbers that were overrunning the
internal array of times. The symptom is a comparison between a number and
nil.

CharacterProfiler (used by the WoWRoster website package) had a string/nil
append operation, which may be related to changes in the chat API. I
patched around it but I think there's something deeper to fix.

I use AllPlayed too. However, I have all my minimap buttons moved to a
separate frame using "Minimap Button Frame". I like that MUCH better
than trying to manage all those buttons around a circle.

If I could think of somewhere to put the frame I'd try that, it's
getting to be quite a headache figuring where to put my minimap
buttons so they don't obscure Blizzard ones that aren't visible at the
time when I'm arranging the buttons (the pvp and LFG ones for example)
Problem is I think I've already used all the handy little corners
around my screen!

Oh and AllPlayed isn't actually totally broken btw, the button moved
when I managed to click on the correct pixel, phew... the right-click
menu isn't working though. But doesn't matter too much since I just
use it for info and rarely need to change anyway :-)

I seem to be having a problem with Bartender (I think). I have lost
the bar that has your char, skills, achievements, HKs, quests, menu,
etc. completely. I have gone into the config and acitvated all types
of bars, and it's nowhere to be found. When I try to activate the
"Micro Bar" I get a pop-up LUA error.

This is with a version I DLed last night. Kinda annoying to hit P
every time I need to open my spellbook.

Um, oops. I just remembered that I DLed Healbot and XPerl last night -
not Bartender. I will try a new DL tonight and see if that brings back
my menu bar.

I had no idea the author read this group! Seems the minimap button
might have been user error; it's not as responsive to dragging as it
used to be, but does work when I grab the right spot on the button.
The right-click menu from the button isn't working at all for me
though, so I will submit a ticket if I can find my way around that
site (no idea if it needs login or anything, never done anything there
before :-)) - thanks for the info!

This is precisely why you *need* MBF. When closed (with a right-click,
right-click again to open it), all your buttons are inside a very
small bar that fits quite neatly underneath your mini-map, or anywhere
else on the screen that you wish to put it. Then there's plenty of
room for the few buttons that don't go in there (World map, tracking,
PvP, etc., and I think there's a setting where you can get those to go
into it, too).

I hear that addons that communicate with each other like Healbot or
Recount has problems in cross-server dungeons. Not sure whether it has

Yupp, running the curse client and getting a few manually from Wowinterface
and everything but Fubar_QuestFu is working flawlessly (except maybe
Cartographer, see my post in another thread). QuestFu bitches but then works
in those areas I use it. I might strip it down to what I need it for and

I was refering to this forum post:

http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=21730675337&sid=1

There should be no problems with your own data, but you can't reliably
receive data from other players. Your own displayed dps should be fine
though but other peoples dps might seem low and occasionally somebody
might complain about your "low dps".

I said there was a problem with Healbot, but that is not as much as a
problem as there is only one healer in the cross-realm groups.

I was using a back-level of Uberquest; that's been broken by the quest
log changes, but hopefully will also have been rendered less relevant.

Recap was showing absolutely zero data for other players when I did
some crossrealm instances, was thinking of trying Recount but if it's
not reliable either, I guess I'll wait till somebody comes up with
something that does work reliably. Not like it really matters anyway,
I just use damage meters for curiosity.

I've been using the old DamageMeters (or is it DamageMeter?) addon for
ages, it's not been updated in a while, but it still works, syncs, and
in my random cross-realm groups it still shows data very close to what
other people have been guessing it. In raids it's sometimes a little
bit off from Recount, but only a LITTLE but, never enough to change
the DPS order unless people are within .1-.2% of each other. And it
can be set to show pet damage included with hunter, can also show
healing, overheal, etc. I've got mine set to rotate between DPS (per
fight) and total damage done. If you mouseover the toon name, it
breaks down attacks iirc.
