Not so much an issue with regular mobs, but in raids it's also
generally where I have addons like Grid or Healbot and it's kinda
annoying.
I tried turning off auto loot and moving the loot box to the left, but
the next time I went to loot, it was right back in its previous
centered position.
Does anyone know how to permanently move the loot box?

I'm not sure about it, but I think the loot box now appears at your
cursor.

It does, and there's an interface option to remove that behavior.

Okay, thank you. I'll look for this option when I get home from work
tonight.

And hopefully you found it, since that's your culprit. It annoyed me,
too, for the better part of a day, 'til I went looking for it (and
found it, and turned it off).

I did! Took some searching, but I eventually found it, and got the
problem fixed.

That annoyed me too, I know that behaviour exists, since I
occasionally turn it on, when I'm dualboxing and want to pick up quest
items on the following character easily, so I figured the problem
immediately, just cannot see why it needed to be changed away from
what I've always had it set to.
Another annoyance was the camera follow behaviour, that sure took a
bit of hunting around to get it to keep the vertical angle I prefer
(which appears slightly higher than what it wants to default to)
whilst still moving to behind me if I've turned it around to one side
- if that's annoying anybody else it's in camera section, change
follow style to only horizontal when moving.

Tell me! How do you fix that? I played with the camera settings and have
resorted to "don't adapt at all" which occasionally leaves me facing away
from mobs without noticing but is still better than the constant lowering of
the angle :-(((

Ah. Thanks. I tried that but it didn't seem to work. I'll recheck.

It worked for me anyway, that set it back to what it always used to
default to, hopefully it'll solve it for you too!
Just checked it and it does indeed work. I have no idea why it didn't seem
to when I first tried it.

It didn't seem to work for me at first, either. And even though I
unchecked the "Loot at mouse pointer" or whatever option, the next
time I logged in, it was checked again. So perhaps things don't "take"
for whatever reason the first time?
