They made the dungeons give rep to all the individual factions
connected to your faction (the subfactions to Alliance Vanguard or
Horde Expedition) been a few complaints about that from the people who
spent ages grinding the Alliance factions one daily at a time, but
those people aren't realising that horde didn't have dailies for two
of their factions so had no way to get the rep up with them - I'm
delighted to be able to fix those two that I've had stuck partway
through honoured for the last year!

Just like any heroic, if an alternate faction has a tabard, you can wear it
to override the default faction for the dungeon. An overall alliance
vanguard faction increase is pretty nice for the new ones though. *

It's great. I assume that if you don't wear a tabbard it spills over to all
of your alliance/horde factions? So do the four Tournament dailies that
reward a gold bag, too. Finally I'll get explorer's league and Frostborn to
exalted.
Talking of factions. Who do I need to talk to have Ashen Verdict show up in
my rep list? I've done the three new 5-man dungeons on normal but not heroic
yet but don't see them. Are they only tied to the raid instance?
Cheers

Apparently. I heard that their Quartermaster is actually within the
raid instance. That's the rumor anyway. I'm pretty sure I'll never
see them.

Yep, my Hunter went there last friday. It's much like the old Violet

looking forward to picking up that ring!

Except that:
- Kharazan was the entry level 10 man instance
- Their representatives were outside the instance, so you could at least
"discover" their faction without entering
As far as I can tell, I won't even be able to enter the instance due to not
passing the gear check...

You can pick up t9/245 leave gear with badges now. Breeze through a few
random heroics, and you'll pass the gear check easily.

You don't need trophies anymore? That makes sense I guess with the amount
of triumph you get running the random heroics, but it kind of annoys me
because I wasted DKP on a trophy and item just a couple weeks ago. It will
be nice if I want to pick up my last piece if I need to juggle to keep my
4 piece set bonus. *

As far as I know you do still need trophies for T9-245.
I assume Shiflet was referring to T9-232 and the nonset 245 pieces.

Yes and no. You can get one level of tier 9 gear without trophies, one level
with badges and 1 trophy, and the highest level(251 I think) ONLY with the
token that drops in ToC 25.
You can also get multiple pieces of 245 non-set gear with just badges.
> As far as I know you do still need trophies for T9-245.
Yep, badges and 1 trophy for the 245 version of t9. For the 251(I think) t9
version, you have to have the token from ToC 25.
> I assume Shiflet was referring to T9-232 and the nonset 245 pieces.
Correct again. You can get 232 t9 with just badges, along with some quite
nice pieces of non-set 245 gear.
OK, so nothing had changed. I read the message as someone saying you could
get the 245 items with badges only, and that would definitely be a change.
>You can also get multiple pieces of 245 non-set gear with just badges.
They're mostly surrogates for tier items. I don't have any use for triumph
badges anymore because of it - I've bought everything I can wear. *
