You wouldn't have done any better at Walmart. My wife and I went there @ 6Am
and all of the spots for the 360 deal and the laptops were gone way before
then. We could have easily gotten the TVs which are great deals, but I
already have two really good ones right now. We were going to get two 360s
between us, cash out the gift cards, then sell the 360s on Ebay for $150 @
"Buy It Now".

I picked up an arcade unit from Walmart yesterday. I am planning on
selling it on eBay for $180 "Buy it Now" with free shipping. LOL!
Nah I'm only joking. But I did grab one online from them. For that
price I couldn't pass it up and I could always use a spare.

Hell, I could use one to start with. But then I looked at the specs on
the arcade, and I think I'm glad I missed. I want one with a HD.

Yeah, I tried to talk my PS3-fanboy buddy into jumping on it, but he
reminded me that he'd still have to buy a hard drive and a wireless
adapter, making it much more than just $100.

You lucky bastard! That's an awesome deal when considering it cost only $99
after the gift card. And who knows, you may need it after all. I am about
two weeks from getting my PC built, the parts are hell to come by. In the
meantime, MW2 is waiting for me this Tuesday. By the way, for the 9th week
in a row PS3 sales have been blowing away the 360 and it hasn't waned at
after the initial release of the Slim for $299. After the initial big first
week, the PS3 has been averaging between 75k-100k more in console sales
since. It seems like your long ago prediction may come true that the PS3
will ultimately take over the 360 is total sales worldwide. The 360 went
from well over 8 million ahead in July to well under 7 million now
worldwide.
MS should drop the price of the Arcade by at least $20 NOW (I say $50), or
they will lose huge ground to the PS3 during the Holiday season easily.
Considering the games out now and coming out for the PS3, it's a great deal
right now.

memory if you just need a place for savegames. MS didn't ban modded HDD
with the new update so thats still an option.

up Ratchet right now. I only have to finish it on hard to get my 1st
platinum trophy. Sony far and away stole this year from MS with games
and sales. Although I will be joining the MS faithful come Tuesday.
Although I'm not really excited at all for MW2. I jut hope it's really
good and doesn't have any server issues. I have a really short fuse
when it comes to online issues. Especially when they are the same
exact issues from previous versions.

I would but my son, which is a shocker because he is hardcore 360 and
doesn't usually like platform games, is fighting me for playing time
on this title. I am half way through my 3rd completion. I will then
unlock my first platinum. The game is stunning to look at and fun as
hell to play. It's a shame Insomniac doesn't take it online like Rare
did with Conker on the original XBox.

Yeah I picked up Uncharted 2 but I only finished it once. Played it
online some but not enough. It's an amazing title but there are just
so many games out and so little time. I have been bouncing around a
lot between titles which is unusual for me. I usually play one until I
am burned out and move on. I am almost finished everything I can
possibly do in Ratchet and Clank and I am still not bored of it. I'm
not sure if I will play UC2 much now that MW2 is here and my wheel is
finally about to arrive from Germany next week.
