Wow, MW2 is all over Usenet and P2P. That sucks.
People are going to know the maps inside and out by the time I get in
there. :)

I've read rumors that some stores are going to break street date Friday,
but I don't put much stock in them. Would be nice, though.

While breaking that date is unethical, it is practical from a gamers'
shopping habits perspective. Letting it out at the beginning of the weekend
will garner more traffic into the stores because that gives a whole weekend
of gaming opportunities and shopping options.

Quite a few people at XBOX forums have had the game for 2 weeks
already. You can see it in their recent played list , one even has a
ton of achievements already.

MW2 is gonna be good, but the level of hype and craze over the game
has annoyed me.

I canceled my console order and I'm just getting the regular game.

Amazon is giving a $20 credit when you buy MW2 from them , so I jumped
on that.

I like MW2 and I'm excited for it, but people have just gotten a
little crazy talking about it.

You can't even talk about other games in their own category without it
getting spammed by the "OMG MW2 is da bess gam in da world!!" No
other game is better

Just goto the COD forums at XBOX.com its like a douche bag
convention , I'm not even sure I like the community surrounding this
game anymore.

No, I stay far away from that "community."
Any time I've tried to find some sort of decent forum, it's all a bunch
of idiot sk8r doodz who can't spell or form a coherent thought.

They are our future.

Same thing when I wanted to find info about drum pads for my Rock Band
drum kit. Those forums are downright SCARY in the average IQ of the
posters.

I picked it up today. I haven't cracked the box open yet because I am
trying to beat the last boss on Uncharted 2 and I know I won't go back
to it if I start playing MW2 and Dragon Age.
