I was shocked when I found this.
Yep. Back then Bill Cable wouldn't have given it a second thought, now
he is it's number one fanboy.
But what was MS thinking?
The wya this title is coming along this could've been their God of War
equivalent. Not that it plays anything like GOW but it's the same "type" of
game. I actually think it's going to be better than GOW from what I played
of it. This is one area MS needs to step it up and they let it slip away.
It boggles the mind. There is more to gaming then shooters and PC ports.
The funny thing is I told a few friends that HS is nothing like GOW because
they were directly comparing it to that title. I told them I feel it's more
like playing the role of the main character in an old Black Belt Theater
movie or the main character in Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon and here the
demo shows that was the original premise.
When you eventually pick up a PS3 RPH, if you do, you have to give this game
a try.
It wasn't an MS decision. According to the Wikipedia article on it,
the game was in development for the original XBox by an unlisted game
studio. Microsoft was never planned to be the publisher.... The game
got canceled and Sony's publishing division picked it up (we assume
bought all assets tied to the game) and turned it into a PS3 exclusive
to be published by Sony.
It does look like an amazing game, the first game on the PS3 to catch
my attention.
Too Human is in the works. Odds are Microsoft decided to back Too
Human over Heavenly Sword. If Heavenly Sword were on the 360, it
wouldn't be made that much of a deal about it. The fact the PS3 is
really shorted on good exclusives, it is being hyped up a LOT. Anyone
here remember Too Human?
