I really wish they were. It would be network compatible if they did port
it. Daytona 2 is still my favorite arcade racer. It is just beautiful when
the car gets turned to scrap metal from all the damage.
There is absolutely no release date for it yet but it is pretty safe to
assume that Sega will make it for the Dramcast someday in the future.
