I didn't plan on taking part in this bandwidth wasting conversation
but I was forced into it by someone who accused me of being a scalper.

Let me introduce few new terms for ya;

Capitalizm
Free Market
Supply and Demand

do any of these ring a bell? if not perhaps you should go look them up
in a dictonary or better yet in a economics book...

Why should I be labeled a scalper because I wanted to sell a N64 for
$300? Do you know that it costs less than $0.20 to make a can of Coca
Cola or Pepsi or whatever? Then how come you go out and pay $0.75 or
even $1 for it? Isn't that scalping????????? oh my god! someone is
making money on you and you still keep buying their products! duh, get
a life...

IF you think people should not be making a profit perhaps you should
move to a country where there is no free market (ie: China and Cuba
come to mind)... have fun there...

Merry Xmas!

Explain why a person that buys concert tickets and then sells them
for a higher cost to make a profit is a scalper, but you who buys a
N64 to sell for a profit isn't? Now it doesn't matter that Xmas is
over 64's will be back in stock and all the scum who tried to buy up
the N64's and sell them for a higher cost will be screwed.

Explain why your local grocery owner is not in jail for selling you a
bottle of Coke for $1.00 when he pays $0.50 for it.

I do not agree. I did not try to make any money off my 64, but I do not
think those who did should be looked down upon. Concert and sports tickets
have a price on the front of the ticket. N64's do not. Also are Walmart,
Best Buy, ect... scalpers because they make money on the N64? You say no...
Then you can not look down on the little man. However, I do think
Ticketmaster is a form of organized scalping, but this is not the place for
that thread.
