As for me, it sucks because my account was banned for reasons that I am
unaware of. Basically if you sneeze and a gm doesn't like it, then your
account is toast. If I were you, I wouldn't waste my time coming back.

Well, it's a lot like real life in a limited kinda way..... you can do
ANYTHING at all- lie, steal, cheat, commit murder.....
gee, it's kinda like DOOM or QUAKE.....
but hey, that's just ' part of the game'

Well, if we get past the messages about some folks getting banned etc, which
don't really apply to your question.

I'm an old vet, and still playing. Tho my time seems to be a lot more limited
these days. I'd say in general its much improved over 'long ago'. And things
look hopeful for the future...possibility of more land being available for new
housing. You can better manage your skill levels now. Still the mix of jerks
and non-jerks - thats up to you to find the people in game you want to play
with.

Good luck, hope you enjoy it again.

Well its unlike real life in that there is really no down side to
acting badly.

OOH!
I have good news and bad news:
Good news:
I know where to get Osatrds and will get one for you, I charge the lowest
prices around.
Bad News:
You can't take Ostards into the old lands. You will have to come with me to
get the Osatrd :)

If anyone wants any other animals, I can't tame much though, Contact:

Kivan's animal taming service. Britain West Bank, Europa.

Can an Ostard be brought into Minoc and the old world?
If you bring something like this in can the people who have the original UO
see it since it is a UOT2A animal?
Why is it cheating to bring one back to the old land? they are a legal
animal in the game and can be ridden just like a horse. I don't see the
cheating in that.

No. It physically cannot be done. You can literally not move it through
the portals.

No animals or monsters can be moved from old lands to T2A - it is
impossible.

See above.

I have seen ostards in brit before so I doubt that it is impossible.

Then how come I can take my horse by riding it through the portal in
Magica/Papua magic shops?

I guess I'm in trouble, then, because I do it often.

there use to be a bug which involded putting Ostards on a boat and going
throught the Serpent Pillars in which tons of them where brought back I have
no Idea if it is still done but might be able to give it a try

I used to see Ostards in the old world and tried every path, including
all of the tunnels, the boats, the teleporters, everything. However it
is being done is not entirely obvious.

I'd assume you can bring Britannia animals anywhere, since everyone
recognises Brit. animals, but T2A animals must stay in T2A since not
everyone has it.

It's not that harsh of a rule. Horses, imps, nightmares, etc. can be
brought back easily. Only the animals that do not exist in the old world
are prohibited, such as ostards, Ophidians, Terathons and Cyclops.
