Hi everyone,
I was wondering if anyone knows where the entrance to the cave or Wind is?
I know that you have to have certain requirements to go there but I don't
know where the entrance is.
If you know or know where I can find out plz e-mail me at pwo...@dot.com.au
Thanks alot

All it says in the UO guide is cave entrance in Forest of
Samlethe.........but I know you can get the exact coordinates from
Stratics........never been there, but would love to go. Probably nothing
much there, but just to check. I am on Pacific......email me at
dmo...@hotmail.com and we can trade ICQ........../NEPTUNE

And yes I meet the qualifications, which I am sure you know.......60 magery,
and cast every spell from 1 - 6......./NEPTUNE

The wind entrance is south of the Chaos shrine. You have to take a long
mountain path to get there. myself , with 73 magery, has never been there.
Uoam might help you find it better.
or a map of the dungeons and shrines

Actually the requirements have been upped a bit.. 72 magery and cast one
spell from each of the 6th circles.

now.. to find it:
from Britain graveyard walk north until you hit the mountains. You should
get pretty close to a pass that will take you into a small valley. From
there another pass goes to dungeon Despise. Do NOT go there, but instead
keep heading along the mountains to the east, and ptretty soon to the north
again. After some housing chaos (on my shard, at least) you'll reach a maze
of passes. In those at the northwestern corner is the entrance teleporter to
Wind.
Alternatively... you could go a few steps south from the Shrine of Chaos
(that is also considered a warning, mind you).
Another piece of free advice.. the entrance teleporter and the exit
teleporter in Wind are NOT the same (which got me killed once) and recalling
INTO Wind as well as gating (in or out) will not work. Never. Ever. You can
recall out, though.

Hope that helps.. with my map the description is pretty easy, i'm not sure
it will work in game..

Back about a year or so ago when T2A was just coming out Origin said they
were adding lands to the map. You had to buy the new game of course but
what the hey. I went out of the states then and now that I'm back I
haven't saw any of these new lands. Where are they?

They are access through special portals. the easiest one to get to is
at the Encyclopedia Magicka in Moonglow.
The portal is inside to the north. You need to say "recsu/recdu" to
get in and out.

is there. what i do know is that you feel like a lab rat looking for that
piece of cheese.

Actually, that's part of what I liked about it. It wasn't "simple".
There are many *huge* secrete places. Besides, who walks when there
are runes?

Unless you want the "adventure" of the journey from town to Wind (on LS
it's nothing but dodging houses and mongbats and pks), the easiest way
to get there is to ask the nearest mage for a rune. Just about every
mage in the game has one, because there is a field inside that is
invaluable to fletchers and tailors.
I noticed someone earlier in the thread said there is probably nothing
there - that's not true. In fact there are things between the entrance
teleporter and the actual town that many mages at only 72 skill can't
handle alone. (not saying what - go to stratics if you want a spoiler)
For your first trip there, when you don't know your way around yet,
bring some backup.

I prefer to walk. It is much more fun than a recall. You can
meet many nice people or roleplaying the escape from an
ambush:). Try it sometimes if you are not in hurry.

Who's Roleplaying??? I think I can name about a dozen pks that live
along the mountain pass (mostly between Brit and Despise). Taking that
walk is always escaping from an ambush.

I use T2A all of the time. I frequently want to go to the Desart becasue
there are high level maonsters there and you can either die fast or gain
quick. In order to get there I must first gate from Vesper to Moonglow then
again to where the desart is. There is no direct route due to the moon phase
?? I think. I dont fine the T2A that enjoyable as there is constantly people
in and out of it quicker than you can blink, So it is pretty much a theives
heaven. However, That is what makes the game intresting, Moving when others
are too close, Fight chaos and Reds. And kill theives where they stand with
magic freeze and then a skinning knife :oP now... that is fun.. Cause unless
he is really good, he wont be able to dispell it and he will either plead for
his crap or call you a dick. hehe, as you can see, there is fun for a person
who doesent like theives to have in T2A. All other uses for it are comparable
to a train station. (I guess)
