The old TR games, had a logic about them that made the player feel like they
had control. But now it seems that the whole fucking game is being
controlled by the designers. I keep telling myself, "Oh I here's where the
game designers want me to go, or do, or say"
Why does lara magically produce a crow bar out of thin air, instead of
reaching for it inside of her backpack. A little deatil.... but geeez!!!!
for all the effort they supposedly spent on the graphics it reeks of
amateurness.
She's so lame to move, she's a weakling now. Why does it take me 10 tries to
pull a box instead of push it. Why can't I walk to the edge of a wall and
turn around and lower myself??? It seems I must face the edge and have lara
flip around on her own to grap the edge.
In some places if the camera is constrained it goes into a cycle where the
camera pans back and forth in an endless cycle. Blah blagh blahhh.
I tried to like this game but lara stinks. She reminds me of M. Jackson (as
stated before). I laugh at her and the game designers.
If this game was the first of the TR series, it would have never succeeded.
All the elements of the original games are no where to be found. Obviously
CORE doesn't even know why the original TR games were successful (because
they removed them from TROAD)
TR: AOD is DOA

actually, judging by posts here (and reviews) people only needed to
see the game... don't think you can shock them more than the game did :-)
