Good onya mate. I'm 63,and I thought I might have been the oldest, but you
take the crown.
For my hearing loss,I turn up the volume, and change the resolution and put
on my glasses for the poor eye sight.
And I'm still hanging in there having fun.

just patiently waiting :-) Read some reviews of new TR game, they
liked it... So far I liked the TRs by Crystal dynamics, they actually
are getting better over tme so I hope the next one will be fun to play...
Also Lara Croft guardian of the light has new downloadable content
available (didn't get it yet, too many games to play)
raid on!

it's actually a really fun game! i was surprised since i hated the
idea of it but it really does play well. haven't got thru it yet
tho. some of the levels are really difficult.
i just found out about the new game. that's what got me nostalgic to
begin with. this group used to have some really lively posts. that,
and the game/audience was just so different. i was reading the forums
and ppl.......well........they're young. lol man, i never thought
i'd say that. but they are, and their idea of a fun game is something
on wheels that lasts 5 hours total. nothing like the ppl that played
through the 'original series.'
hopefully this reboot will offer more in the way of the old games.
the last couple have just not done it for me.
anywayup! glad to see there's still some ppl checking in
occasionally. since my isp dumped newsgroups a while ago i feel like
a huge chunk of my online life just got dropped in the trash! :( it
might make me 'old' but tweeting and facebook and even most
forums.....they just don't have the substance of a good group.
I played it on easiest setting :-) It's pretty easy for fairly long
time but towards the end it's a lot more difficult... The cooperative
mode is also lot of fun,

same here, forums are just not worth it... then again it seems like
fewer and fewer people even know about newsgroups. It's almost like they
are cool (elitist even) again :-)

> i was just feeling nostalgic and looked up my old username (from when my isp still had newsgroups) and saw a LOT of old threads. man that was a lot of fun back in the day. can't imagine too many hang around a dusty old newsgroup anymore.

I still pop by every few days.

Welcome back! I'm still lurking too and post occasionally. True, it's
not as busy here as back in the day, but you can still count on a few
old timers--you know who you are ;) --to turn up now and then. I guess
that's the way things go. With Twitter, Facebook and all these other
new communities, sometimes the classics fall away. But I've got deep
roots in this group, so I could never toatally leave it. So many great
memories....

I just dropped by after i don't know how many years. I'm 37 now but
still remember the days were I tried to Program a better TR Engine on
Voodoo2 and where Theresa Jenny (I hope I spelled it correctly) still
had her tombraiders.com website.
I also frequently visited stella's site.
I didn't think that anyone would use the good old newsgroups these days.
