Time passes. He has an alien baby now, and is one day off elderhood. The
girlfriend has retired and he lost his job but no matter, if I don't tell
them what to do, ACR does. 3 times in one evening...
He recently met Christa, the new wife of one of the sons of a neighbour, a
girl brought home from Uni, another Romance sim. She was immediately struck
with 3 bolts for him - and he for her. Now, he had never thrown wants for
woohoos with more sims, but he did want a date. Christa had dutifully
produced the required heir, can't find a job she likes and is more than a
little bored. Goopy invited her on a date. Nothing fancy, just a visit to
the local store for a snack. Not that they ever got around to eating.
Christa did have a want to woohoo with 3 sims so I directed them into the
photobooth to satisfy it. Then ACR which had been quietly suggesting the odd
peck on the cheek kicked in better. When they came out Goopy was cornered
by Jill Smith who chatted and chatted. In the meantime Sandy Bruty happened
by, and after telling Christa a joke, she got into the photobooth - and
Goopy joined her. More fireworks. Out they come, Christa chatted with
Sandy and Jill cornered him again. Next thing I see is the first kiss
hearts all around Jill - I didn't realise adults could do that.
After Christa snogged his face off again I ended that date!

Dear me Goopy. My adults first kiss - though it might be ACR or another mod
that does that. Or do you mean they spontaneously first-kissed. I think
that must be a mod because AFAIK, they won't do that unless you tell them,
at least according to EAxis. Mind you, so much changed with each EP and
patch, I'm no longer sure. Having said that, I'm no longer playing the game
so I guess it doesn't matter.

They spontaneously kissed, presumably for the first time of the initiator -
which was Jill. It was the flurry of pink hearts I was surprised by.
Only seen those around teens.
Given up completely?

Not played properly in about 3-4 months though I only actually stopped
completely probably about a month or two ago. Been playing first Dragon Age
and its expansion and now Mass Effect - both episodes. Lots of fun. Also,
work. Not so much fun.
Best wishes

I've been playing Dragon Age as well. Since late November!!! And still
i could just go and go and go.
So highly addictive and fun! Dare i say i might even rank it as my
favorite video game of all time- next to S2, of course.
I have the exp. but i'm not as wild about it.
But i do dearly love DA: Origins. I love the different conversations
your party members will have, depending on who you have with you. Like
how Shale refers to Morrigan as "The Swamp Witch" if they are out
together. And the conversation between Wynne and Allistair about his
torn shirt! i nearly, literally rolled on the floor with laughter.
Got 2 characters going.
Once i found out i could not schmooze Allistair into my tent (as a
cute male Mage Elf) i had to play as a female Warrior to get my grubs
on him LOL. She has finished the game and moved on, as Queen, of
course. Queen Sigourney, in fact.
But my little cute Mage is still wandering around doing the Werewolf
thing- looking for Witherfang.
i LOVE this game!!
ok.. i just had to pop by to say that.
Hope you are all doing well.
Cheers!!!
Eddie
Hey Eddie,
You could always have your male elf get his grubby little paws all over
Zevran. Just a suggestion. Of all the NPCs, Zevran ended up a favourite
with me - his sex technique advice to Alistair had me crying with laughter.
I liked Shayle and Oghren too - I was delighted to see him again in
Awakenings - but my favourite of all was the dog. Loved him - to little
itty bitty bits. Who's a good boy then? Bite that darkspawn! Bite it!
pat pat pat. I loved the way he could outwit Alistair in conversation
(without even having the ability to speak). I couldn't stand Leliana and
disliked Morrigan (too whiney for my tastes). I thought they wasted a lot
of potential with Wynne - great concept and she had some fantastic dialogues
(I agree) but she's your mother or favourite maiden aunt in disguise. I'm
too old to appreciate that. The dialogue writing was a feature though -
Alistair had some great lines - lamposts (need I say more?), and, if you
play a female character, the conversation at the Pearl with that duelist can
take a very odd turn ("I'm awake and everything!"). I've tried all the
origins stories but the one character I played through to the very, very end
was my female elf mage - I nearly always play female mages, I'm even playing
a female Shepard as an adept (closest I could find in ME). Anyway, I put
Anora on the throne, killed Loghain (and the archdemon, of course, though it
was something of an afterthought by then) and ran off with Alistair never to
be seen again - well, until the prologue of Awakenings anyway. I liked DA a
lot and Awakenings (I'm a bit annoyed that Nathaniel - brooding cute
Nathaniel - wasn't a romantic interest but, meh, it was more fast paced fun
than the OC. What did you think of Anders? "It wasn't me!" I regretted
giving him that cat) and am awaiting the next EP - also there's a new
Witcher game due out next year. My tongue has been hanging out for that one
since the release and my completion of the first version. ooooh - what did
you think of the Architect? I'm hoping he'll be back in a sequel. And
Mother was scary - shame she died. Duncan's beard!
Sigh - it was all great. Time for another run through!
Best wishes

I got an error message while trying to post, so if this comes thru
twice, apologies.
'ello Lady Maxon! Always good to read ya'!

Yep yep. Once i firgured out Allistair could not be swayed by my very
talanted charms of my male Mage, i went back to a prior save where i
had not yet killled Zevran (first go around i killed him without
knowing he is the only Bi character, oops. Well- Liliana can be had
too, by a lady- but... ugh! just... ugh...).
He is fun too. But still.. my little Elf Mage guy wanted Allistair
beyond words LOL. He deserved to have a nice beau so i went back and
gave him Zevran. He isn't my type personally-- but hey, beggars can't
be choosers in Ferelden during a Blight, eh?
> I liked Shayle and Oghren too - I was delighted to see him again in

I love how Shale would refer to his previous owners wife as "Hag"
every chance that came up. I roared with laughter.
Oghren- I'd have rather a different party member had shown up instead
of him in the exp.- but he likes his drink so i do appreciate that
about his character. And how he keeps having these odd conversations
about his pants running away from him or something.. like wtf? lol

I triple loved the dog.. and his "conversations" with other party
members. I especially loved how Sten had such respect and
understanding for him too.

OMG! Liliana was SUCH a little tart in my game. Honestly- i could not
give her a gift without her wanting to take it further- but again, my
character is highly charismatic. I finally got to where i just would
not speak with her to end all romantic notions she may have had going.
Her song she sang at camp was lovely though.
Morrigan i sorta liked for a couple of reasons. 1.) her attitude and
2.) she is voiced by a great actress named Claudia Black, who played
Aeryn Sun on "Farscape" among other sci fi stuffs. In the end though-
i did let her do her little magic thing which i wont spoil for anyone
who may yet want to play. So that way my character and my Allistair
could both live.
She has some very witty remarks through the game as well.
"If one more person asks me if i want more garments to wear, i will
scream!" LOL

I absolutelly adored Wynne. In every way.

I read in the guide about the duelist at the Pearl. Had not done it
though- but once my character asked Sanga to be "surprised" and i
awoke with two Nugs looking sheepishly away. I was like "Nooooooooooo!
I'm a nug buggerer!" LOL
Some of the dialog is priceless, you're right. One in particular that
i loved was between my female Warrior and Liliana in the Library in
Orzamar. She was asking how Allistair was as a lover, or something
along those lines- and Allistair comes running over and says
suspiciously "You're giggiling! Why are you giggling?" LOL He does
have some of the better lines. I take it you did get the conversation
about his shirt where he asks Wynne to mend it when they get back to
camp? My favorite. Too funny. Also- so many to recall. There were
other favorites but i can't think of them now. The "Royal Bastard"
line was great... Oh and Zevran flirting with Wynne-- priceless!!

Oh, damn straight Loghain HAD to die, no doubt about it. I could not
wait. I let Allistair do it though- whooped ass, he did. My little
Royal Bastard. <g>
Hmm.. since i married Allistair and became Queen.. i have no idea what
has become of Anora. She must be still locked in the Tower, where
Allistair sent her last time i saw her (snicker). She can stay
there... hag.

The "It wasn't me!" busted me up too. Honestly- some of the best
writing and voice talent they got for these games.

I have yet to get to the Architect or Mother.. as i got sidetracked by
the "Avatar" video game. I did read a bit about them in the Prima
guide though.
I was one of the last people on the planet who had not seen "Avatar"
so i bought the Blu Ray (which looks stunning by the way) and got
Avatar fever. Yes- it is predictable and YES! Someone should tell
James Cameron to just STOP writing his own dialog (groan) but i did
fall in love with the movie and had to play the game to get more
Avatar in my life. Gary is farther into the DA expansion than i am..
and my mage guy is still back in the good old days of the base game.
Nice chattin' Dragon Age with you. I've only found a few people online
who i can chat with it about who know what i'm going on about.
"Enchanment?"
Cheers, Maxon. Take care.
PS- "Witcher" game? Oooooooooo! You've piqued my interest! Do tell.
