Can anybody tell me how i can get rid of the quite annoying clown that keeps
roaming around my house??? He has been with me since the third day and he's
driving me completely insane.

Thanks

Troy

Delete the clown picture that is somewhere in the house. Never use that
picture again! There are clown catchers available on the sims website, but I
razed the house to the ground (that stupid tutorial house in livin' large).
Also sometimes I have downloaded a furnished house with clown paintings on
the wall. As long as you delete the paintings right away the clown won't
come.

I agree the clown is the worst thing about Livin' Large. Worse than the
roaches.

There are two ways to get rid of the clown. The strategy guide says to buy a
fireplace, put the sad clown painting over it, and continue lighting the
fire until it catches the picture on fire. make sure the fireman does not
come. No.2 takes a little more work. You have to get everybodys average mood
up to 25. Not easy because of the havoc the clown creates. Hope this helps.

If you have House Party, simply have a sim go to the phone and call
"Clown Catchers". They will eliminate the clown, and his portrait(s) in
the house for §500.

If you have only Livin' Large (Livin' It Up). Download this from the
official site:

http://www.thesims.ea.com

Then goto the "Get Cool Stuff" section. Look for "Clown Catchers".

And then do the same thing as for House Party, described above.

Once the clown comes, deleting the picture won't get rid of him, according
to the strategy guide. Burning the picture is the only way to get rid of
him. (although you could just move_objects on)

Hi, I'm pretty new here, so someone tell me if I'm doing anything
wrong... anyway, I was hoping someone could tell me if there was a way
to GET a clown in my house. I've never seen them and I want to! :) As
for getting rid of them, the official Sims website
(http://www.thesims.com) has a downloadable file called Clown
Catchers. I'm not entirely sure, because I have never had a clown in
my game, but I'm guessing they, well, catch clowns. :)

Well...your sims will live to regret it, but here's how you get a clown in your
house. First buy one of those clown paintings and hang them up somewhere. Then
let your sims moods go low. The fastest way of doing this without killing them
is to ignore their bladder, hygene, and social needs. As soon as their moods
dip below green, that stupid clown will show up. And he wont go away until you
make them feel better, burn his picture or call the clown catchers. Good luck!

Yea but when the Clown shows up, you can beat the snot out of him with your
sims. I have found that is much more fun for me to do. :-)
