in BluePrint, plus the objects that I am adjusting the colors on, which are
downloadable and ready for you to put in your Sims home! Come check it out!

Lance, if you haven't yet, you should check out the game "Creatures"
http://www.creatures.co.uk. I say this because I think you might really enjoy
it. There are 'norns' instead of "Sims" (the norns are like having a dog or
cat, or a four year old; as far as, they do what they want most of the time
*s*).

Because you can create and inject objects into that game. I wasn't able to do
that, but it was almost as much fun *using* objects others created. Drop by
alt.games.creatures and have a look around too...

Once you finish the Sims objects of course ;o).
But, there's a large Creatures community out there, too. (I like Sims better,
but... close 2nd).

Yes, they are "new colors". But, IMHO, they are *ugly* new colors. I

Your site doesn't work with Netscape because there are two <TABLE> tags in the

Well, you could have SUGGESTED some colors instead of going right off saying
my stuff was ugly. Unless you are talking about another post. But
personally, I like a lot of navy color stuff, so I thought of myself when I
was making these first few objects. Sorry if you weren't talking to me.

Lance, read the header on that post. I think she was referring to Slink's
creations. Although those aren't the colors I'd have in my home, I sure
will use them in my Sim's houses. I loved them! And I think you stuff is
great too!! After that evil, putrid green sofa and neon yellow chair,
NOTHING would be unappreciated!

I admit that for that Netscape is stupid.
But with IE5 (not the 4), you just have to add that in an "onClick" event :
document.body.style.display='none'
and IE crashes.

I dunno, I've got golden countertops. Just because they're on flamingo
pink and blood red cabinets shouldn't make them in-elegant. <g>

The flamingo pink cabinet, BTW, was destined for dusty rose (is that an
elegant color?) but when I hit flamingo pink I couldn't resist it.
Ironically Carolyn is having trouble reproducing flamingo pink in the
co-ordinating appliances.

Lance, as Brenda noted, I wasn't replying about your site. Just about the
stuff at http://www.netins.net/showcase/slink/thesims/objects.htm

Please, people, don't get the wrong idea! **I think anyone who wants to
make useable stuff should! Post it, and let everyone know you've made somet
hing.** If I had more time, I'd be making/recoloring objects myself, or at
least trying. Hopefully as time goes on the newly designed objects will
become more pleasing to my own personal eyes.

I dunno, but I like it; we should enter it into an English Language.
The Americans can have it in theirs ;-> I also like that you've made
your site Netscape-friendly, by the way -- now I too can download your
charming items.

<giggle> no indeed; the lines are clean and uncluttered with any
Victorian over-decoration; most tasteful and elegant.

Well, I think I've got something that will do; methinks the fridge is
just a tad off-colour and vibrates _most_ elegantly against the more
muted cabinets :-))

I haven't even sent it in yet. I didn't feel well... and had lots of other
errands to do on that side of town too. Gas being what it is...

I was gonna send it in on Mon. but now, I've gotten a notice the landlords will
be inspecting the place -- *why* I don't know... oh the joys of renting :o(

There is this whole rigamarole to make sure it gets to the right dept. and the
right case # on it and their mailing account on it and I have to phone ahead so
they have the right box ready... wish I could just go to a pack and ship !
They use a certain mailing co. I can't locate... I'm assuming a certain part of
town cos I looked on this side and no luck.

So... no, probably will mail it Tues. now and figure about another week to week
and a half after that =(

Thanks though ! That's really nice of you. Looking forward to all the new
stuff when I can Sim again. =)

<<Symka, is your computer gonna be fixed soon?? I don't want you to miss out
on any of this. (I'll keep the zips from whatever I download and save them
for you just incase we all get thrown in prison by Maxis.)

Prison ? Well, heck -- if they send that Sim officer after us... she'll just
stand there scratching while we walk down the sidewalk with our hands up. LOL

Soon as we get to the edge of the property line -- RUN !! ;o)

No problem, I don't know what objects to do myself, so I will take
suggestions anytime. :) About the gold sink.....did they think it was
orange? haha I think it has quite a bit of orange tint, but hey, I tried.
hehe
