If it is a add-on, what is the new features?
I am from Norway things tend took take a while before they come here.

Lars, Livin' Large is from Maxi's. It is an add-on to the Sims, and was just
released. It gives you the use of 5 neighborhoods, and will support up to 99
if you make your own. It will allow 65,000 floors and walls each, and while it
gives us a few more than the original Sims, it is the updates that help us
most. It provides us with 5 new job categories, in the usual 10 levels. It
gives us some new features, such as Servo, a robot that cleans, but doesn't
answer the door; it has a genie in a magic lamp; it has a crystal ball; it has
a chemistry set, called concoctenation station; it has a telescope, that can
bring an alien abduction; it has a grim reaper, that you can bargain with, if a
sim has died; and it has a clown that can come to life from the clown portrait.
It also has all the downloads and the patch from the sims.com site. It has a
heart-shaped bed, that the sims can "play" in, and several other objects,
including matched furniture, and some new windows, doors, wall coverings, and
floors. It costs $30 in American dollars. I hope this helps to explain it to
you, and that you can understand. I think it is worth the money for the added
features. You may want to go to www.thesims.com, or it's norwegian
counterpart, to see the pictures, and more complete descriptions.

Just once I would like to see a true non-bias review
of the EP.

Well I haven't seen you pop up much before... do you spend enuf time here to
really *read* all the 'reviews' (they are not reviews; this is not a website or
magazine; it is a newsgroup of game players who like to talk about playing the
game for whatever reason) ? Because I saw at least two people say it wasn't
worth the money, and others give mixed reports after using LL. My own posts
were mixed. I liked some things, didn't like others, really can't tell people
to rush out and get it based on what I've seen so far. Anyway the thing just
came out. Some people may have been excited just to play it cos they've
waited a while. Give us a break eh ?

None of us reporting on LL are Maxis shills. In fact if you'd been around a
while you would have seen a lot of criticism aimed at Maxis. For which a
couple of people tore into some of the others. So, before you go calling
people names why don't you know what you're talking about first ??!?!

I am mostly trying to give an honest account so others can decide if they want
to spend $30 on it or not. Money is a consideration for many.

I couldn't have ordered it yesterday myself...
But since I love The Sims and I've been looking forward to the expansion
pack...who cares if it has a few bugs or isn't as great as they make it out to
be...so far no game has been as "great" as the critics say!
