Nope...something's obviouslt rotten in OZ....
No - and tell her things are pretty lively in here just now too. I guess
there's something wrong with her ISP/feed.
Best wishes

Indeed, there is. I will copy and paste what she said in her last
couple of emails to me today.

I have no idea what do do about her Bodyshop, though. Oh, yeah, and she'll have to reboot her PC after doing the HC update. For some reason I had to do it when I updated mine.

I'd make some comment about how Engram should be with Telstra because I'm
still here, but we all know that there's been just as many Telstra fubar's
in the past.

She's just reappeared over in binaries. No doubt she'll be over here soon
enough.
Best wishes

Yes, I am indeed back in the land of Usenet. We ended up buying 25GB worth
of data from Astraweb which should last quite a while. If anyone else is
interested, it actually carries all 6 of the Sims newsgroups (4 text, 2
binaries). $US10 for 25GB, $US25 for 110GB. And it just keeps rolling over
until you run out of space so no monthly fees, no time limit. Plus it's
instant posting. The servers are in the US and I'm in Australia - takes
around 15 to 30 seconds for a binaries post to appear because it has to
propagate to the US first.
Cheers!

Hi maxon. I THINK I got HC fixed; I uninstalled, then rebooted, then
re-installed, then rebooted, and after attempting to open many times, it
finally did. By the time it opened, I forgot how to use it, so I downloaded
some nice, ( I hope ) dark, real-looking grass from mts2. Glad to see you
up online again. Thanks.

Laugh - sounds like a bit of a pantomime.
