I can't connect elevated rail to elevated station O_o

Okey, so I got a stupid problem.

I can't connect elevated rail to the elevated station.. It's been a
couple of years since I played Simcity, so I figured it would be a good
thing to follow the tutorials..

Well.. That was a good thing I gues..I got stuck in the part which you
have to build an elevated station and track. I build the station, and
the tracks. But the tracks just won't connect to the station.. The
message of the tutorial keeps telling me I have to fill all the yellow
spots.. That is exactly what I did.. But the last track just will not
connect to the station.. What am I doing wrong here.. Cause I don't
know.. I am using the newbie tutorial, so can't click on some wrong
things.

As I remember it, I thought you had to drag the rail through the station,
not just up to it (if that makes sense). It's been quite a while.

Allready tried, I get an error message 'can not place on top of
reserved tiles'.

It should be sooo very simple, and I can't do it.. I feel so stupid..

I have this exact same problem. I’m stuck at this part of the rush
hour tutorial as well and when I try to place the elevated rail tracks
through, or on the elevated rail station, the highlighted boxes turn
to red and it reads that I cannot place on top of reserved tiles. Does
anyone know what I’m doing wrong? Please help. I feel so dumb, I’ve
played sim city 2000, and 3000 for years but I’ve never been stuck at
what should be such a simple task.

You sure you got the right type of station? ie you aren't trying to
connect a elv rail to a monorail station?
