Somebody named "Bye" was scheduled to fight almost half the people there!
Even though this is highly illegal, it seems "Bye" was a really bad
player, who lost all of his games immediately. For this reason,
match-by-match pairings with "Bye" are not listed.

Here is how the first 2 rounds of the winners and losers brackets went.
Chris Deards showed up lated, so became forfeit. That's why James Margaris
gets a bye in the losers bracket. I have no idea why they floated Kum Ming
Woo and Fumaki (marked with a *).

But a graphical table isn't enough, is it? No! We want the down and dirty
of EVERY SINGLE FIGHT. So let's get to it. Pay attention, as you will be

round of the set, Scott is putting the pressure on John. Scott has over
60% of his life left, and jumps in for a crossover. He executes his

[ne of the most exciting fights at B2. I lose a the first match. I then
get perfected, or nearly so, in the first round of the second match. I
come back to win the second match. Eddie and I then each win a round of
the third match. I am then down to 2 pixels, Eddie down to less than a
jab's worth. Now as those of you who play me know, I have a certain reflex
that I call the "do something stupid" reflex that kicks in when I am about
to lose. The reflex entails doing something moronically stupid that leaves
me totally vulnerable in hopes that my opponent won't be blocking. For a
prime example of the "do something stupid" reflex, I refer you to my last
round vs Jeff Schaefer at B3. So as I am down to my last 2 pixels, the
reflex kicks in. I have the sudden urge to jump, with no meter charged, at
Eddie's Chun Li. Remembering B3, I manage to suppress the urge. While I am
fighting this internal war, Eddie throws 2 FB's at me to bring me down to
zero life (but I'm still alive). At this point, the urge to do something
stupid becomes overwhelming, and I jump in. Eddie walks under me to punish
me... and I hit stand strong, which hits him out of whatever he tried, and
I win with no life left!]
