Me and a friend were fiddling around on the beta version of sfa2. I don't
know what we did but an old bugger called sheng long came out. He seemed
to be really really powerfull, and he has two styles like gen with ryu
moves in one style and guile type moves in the other. We found one two
quarter circle punch super combo, which was kinda like a Robert Garcia
super combo that goes through super combows at level two and three. We
are not sure about his charge type moves much as the cpu seems too fight
at a very high level againsty him. please email me for further details.

Bullshit.

Very creative, but bullshit. Capcom NEVER puts hidden characters in the
non-release versions of their games. So, while Sheng Long may be a hidden
character in the final SFA2 (and I'll gag if he is), there is no way you
"found" him while fiddling with the beta.

He must be talking about Gen, since he said two different style.
Sheng Long is a joke only, but Capcom may make it happen when they want to,
they have not give name to the 2 old man at Akuma's ending in SFA yet, who
know they won't name one of them Sheng Long and Sheng Short.

How about this................

Just as you are about to fight your boss, an old man runs onto the screen.
Then some 13 year old in the background look up from his copy of EGM and
says "wow! its Sheng Long". The man goes up to the kid and says "Sorry, my
name is Gouken; but I will be happy to show you Sheng Long if you like."
Then as the kid is jumping up and down clapping, Gouken gives him the most
powerful dragonpunch ever seen in a SF game. Then he turns to you.

that's definitely a good one. possibly, Sheng Long and Short could take
on Big Axe and Little Axe in a Saturday Night Slam Masters free for all
with the winners fighting Ken & Ryu for the tag team title...

Actually, they're named Gouken and Goutetsu, if I'm not mistaken.

> *** Milo D. Cooper --- mco...@sonyinteractive.com ***

I wrote my EGM/Sheng Long/April Fool's story five years ago. That 13 year
old kid is now 18--- Old enough to vote for early retirement of this lame
Sheng Long rumor.

The funniest thing was that (3?) years ago, Mike McCool wrote an April
Fool's joke about a SF2 movie--- and everyone bought into it, trying to
figure out who was going to play which character. And I made the joke
that I'm gonna yell "CHEAP" whenever anyone in the movie gets thrown. Then
when the movie is released two years later, in 1995, I see this quote in
some kid's .sig.

Everything posted here is old and derivative--- even the stuff that I
write. That MiST article was the only worthwhile humor to pop up in a
long time. I mean, even your arrogant pseudo-intellectual gibberish is
just a pale derivative of the tone and style of the old UIUC SF2 flamers---
with the tiny exception that yours lacks actual information, wit, humor,
and sarcasm.

And here you are taking lame, and I mean *LAME* little potshots at me.
Really, how pathetic. Why don't you get a life and learn to write, you
loser. Maybe you can impress me some more with your misuse of common
five syllable words like "proletarian" and then retort that it is *I* who
doesn't understand the meaning of the word. But it is *you* who routinely
mangles the meaning of his own sentences with poor grammar and word choices.

I know perfectly well what proletarian means as well as all of the other
words you use. And I also know that insulting me by calling my humor
"proletarian" is about one grade school level above calling out "your
epidermis is showing". No, I take that back, the latter shows more wit,
more intelligence, and better word choice than your chosen insult.

Milo, face the music man. Everyone else already knows that you're a
clueless dork. Just look at what you write... Hell, you might as well
look at *how* your write, too, it says just as much. But I guess if you
had a clue, you'd see what a clueless dork you were and change your ways.

Well, if you don't have a clue, I'd advise you to take the following
writing lesson. Who knows, you might learn something.

Milo's Grammar Lesson of the Day:
Literal Meanings vs. Connotative Meanings--- what you say vs. what you mean.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
the term:
"proletarian humor"
- as coined by Milo "Dork" Cooper

literal meaning: humor which must sell its labor as an industrial wage
earner in order to survive.

connotative meaning: Milo "D" Cooper is an arrogant pseudo-intellectual
who is trying to show off some of his simple understanding of synonyms
which allowed him to score 600 on the verbal section of the SAT, a score
which he considers exemplary--- but misuses this word and many other words
in such a way which clearly casts light on his *lack* of knowledge and
understanding of the subtler nuances of the words he brandishes and parades
before us "less intellectually worthy individuals" as he would the emperor's
new clothes.

end of lesson
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Thanks, Milo, for coining that new phrase. Now, when I am searching for
a specific word which means "an elitist pseudo-intellectual who displays
his own stupidity and ignorance through his own earnest words" I can just
say "proletarian humor" instead. You'd be surprised at how often I would
have needed a word *just* like that--- especially in this newsgroup. Of
course, you'd also be disgusted because as you always say, "I'd be disgusted,
if surprised." Man, you're deep. Then, again, you probably wouldn't be
surprised at all since you hardly care about the actual meanings of the words
you put into your sentences. Of course, I know how terribly bothersome it
must be to nitpick about the meanings of the words which go into the
sentences when the actual sentences, paragraphs, and ideas don't have any
meaning in the first place. In fact, if the purpose of writing was not
to convey ideas clearly and precisely, but in fact was to convey a your
SAT and IQ scores precisely, then I must admit you have done marvelous
job, Milo. You have shown us exactly how bright you are with your splendid,
polysyllabic word choice. You have also shown us exactly how bright you
are by misusing those same words, mangling your sentence structure, and
going loco with the grammar all in an attempt to camouflage the actual
lack of meaning and ideas in your writing.

However, considering the superb job you have done in communicating your
exact IQ and SAT scores, don't you think it's about time to give it a rest?
I mean, really, every day you tell us how smart you are with your language,
and also how smart you're not with the same language. Like, do we really
need a daily ticker tape status report on your IQ? I mean, it would be
much shorter and much subtler to just announce every few months or so:

"I, Milo 'Dork" Cooper, scored 120 and a half on my IQ today! YAY FOR ME!
YAY! YAY! YAY FOR ME! Thank you for listening. I feel much better now."

Or at the very least, you could convince the WSJ to publish your high, low,
and closing IQ for the day.

That way, we wouldn't have to figure out which ones of your post had
content and which ones were just you announcing your brilliance to us all.

Just a thought.
Ming

PS - Did you take notes on that grammar section, Milo? You might need
it to pass that "Use the word "proletarian" in a sentence" test coming
up. I'll give you a hint: It's not considered cheating if you memorize
the meaning.

So, what is the CCs on the kid? Here is it:

Throwing a M&M at first, from red, brown, yellow, and then the green dress (4
hits, take no energy if block, gain health if eat by press start at the
right time), Akuma will get dizzy if hit, and the kid begin eating his
Kit-Kat, before Akuma recover from dizzy, the kid finish his Kit-Kat quickly
(10% energy recover) and use a air gun to shoot at Akuma's $$$$$$, 12 hits.
So, 16 hits in total, takes all energy on male, only the first 4 hits
will works on Chun Li, Rose, and Sakura.

Notes: You will see a big "3?" on the screen if it is a super finish.

Ming: as soon as I got to your explanation of the word "pro-
letarian" in this recent installment of your little diatribe, I
stopped reading. I don't know what dictionary you use, but it's a
FACT: "proletarian," in addition to the primary definition "of the
lower class wage-earners of a society who subsist on their labor,"
the word has a secondary definition, "of the masses," which, as I
said, stems from the primary definition. I really am very sick of
your indignant obstinacy (you might want to look those two words
up, as well). DROP IT. Do not challenge me, because you are wast-
ing both time (mine, yours, and everyone else's) and space (mine,
yours, and everyone else's). Your credibility with respect to word
usage has already been shot; I advise you against further suicide.
The only people who will agree with you in this are members of an
insufficiently literate goon squad, people of a mentality akin to
those few who yuk-yukked when Allen Klein called me a "nigger."
You are WRONG; accept it, please. I thank you.

Shut up, you dork. The word you should have used was 'pedestrian',
not 'proletarian'. If you can't find the right word, don't pick
the wrong one. It just makes you look stupid (not that you care).

Also, YOU'VE JUST PROVEN MY POINT!!! (Seth taught me to randomly
add that into an argument on occasion.) Look, were you having a
bad day with reading comprehension, or are you just normally so
hot-headed that you begin composing your response to a post before
you've even read it? The whole point of my post was that you are
a dork who does not understand the subtle and elegant effectiveness
of choosing the proper words which carry the proper connotations,
but instead opt for loose-fitting polysyllabic synonyms whose subtleties
and connotations destroy the meaning of your sentences (not that they
had any meaning in the first place). Furthermore, I maintained that
you do this because you are a pseudo-intellectual poseur who wants to
show off his incomplete mastery of some long words. And to THIS, you
quite unbelievably, respond by presumably picking up some dictionary,
grabbing the SECONDARY literal meaning, and throwing this in my face
with a big "AHA! I know something you don't know!" Maybe I'm not
following your self-asserted genius here. How, exactly, is this example
supposed to illustrate that you are NOT a pseudo-intellectual poseur
who mashes the meaning of his sentences by choosing inappropriate words
and grammar which serve only to demonstrate his own inadequate command of
language?? Hmmmm??? Are you trying to tell me that because the dictionary
says that proletarian means "of the masses", that that means that it
implies a negative connotation, as well? My, how presumptuous of you
to think that anyone would consider "of the masses" insultory. Aren't
*we* a little stuck up? (Rhetorical question, obviously.) Or are we
supposed to believe that you are *NOT* being pendantic, as I have
asserted, when you throw a secondary dictionary definition at me and
accuse me and your other detractors of being 'insufficiently literate'?
Is this somehow supposed to help your argument? Oh tell me, great master.

>I really am very sick of
>your indignant obstinacy (you might want to look those two words
>up, as well). DROP IT. Do not challenge me, because you are wast-
>ing both time (mine, yours, and everyone else's) and space (mine,

I am not wasting my time. I enjoy what I am doing. I like using your
own words to illustrate your idiocy, and I like riling you. This is my
entertainment. If you think you are wasting your time, then don't bother
responding to my posts. Better yet, don't read them in the first place.
But that's the beauty of it. Your ego is too fragile to just let it go.
You are compelled to respond, no matter how brief, or how lame your response
is--- and it must be a public response, for you have to rally round and
defend your giant ego from getting chipped away.

You have to understand, Milo, that this is not an argument about the
proper usage of "proletarian" in a sentence. Perhaps your brain is too
big and complex to realize it, but this is an attack on your character,
and always has been. Whether you put up a good argument for "proletarian"
or not is irrelevant--- you will look like a fool because you *are* one.
Posts like this one and the previous ones are intended stir you up, and
bring out your true character, so that we can laugh at it. Of course,
since you believe there to be nothing wrong with your character, and in
fact, are pretty damn *proud* of your character, you eagerly supply us
plenty of material for our amusement--- and even inadvertantly, as we
saw above, miss the entire point of our ridicule and behave in the
EXACT same way we were ridiculing you! Classic, huh?

>Your credibility with respect to word
>usage has already been shot; I advise you against further suicide.

Same here. I always advise against killing yourself more than once.

(Since your reading comprehension is so low, and you don't seem to
realize that I'm ridiculing you, I'll tell you what I'm doing straight
and plain. I'm mocking the poor word usage in the sentence where you
declare my accusations of your poor word usage to be foundless. Ironic,
no?)

>The only people who will agree with you in this are members of an
>insufficiently literate goon squad, people of a mentality akin to
>those few who yuk-yukked when Allen Klein called me a "nigger."

Huh? Agree with me on what? Why do I care who agrees with me or not?
And what's up with the non-sequitur about Allen Klein and 'nigger'?
Is this the fashionable way of calling me Hitler?

>You are WRONG; accept it, please.

Oh yes, Milo. You have surely proven that I was wrong about you being
an arrogant, pseudo-intellectual poseur when you pointed to your fictional
dictionary and declared that the SECONDARY DEFINITION OF PROLETARIAN MEANS
"OF THE MASSES". Yes... thanks for making it all clear now. You are
not an arrogant, pseudo-intellectual poseur at all, but in fact, are an
arrogant, pseudo-intellectual poseur who has no idea at all how to construct
a resonable argument.
