One of the prebuilt coasters in Haunted Harbor crashed, killing 18 people.
Obviously, this isn't a good thing. However, the scenario specifically
prevents me from modifying or demolishing this coaster. No mechanics are
fixing it, it still says "Crashed" in the info window, and if I try to send
it on a test run or reactivate it, no trains run. What do I do? Just leave
it closed? It seems that, whenever I have a coaster crash, I'm never able
to start the coaster up again, even if I fix the problem. The trains never
run again, and the mechanics don't come and fix it. Am I missing a trick
here?

Double click the red stop light and then re-open it (or test-run, whichever you
prefer)
A note is that when it's crashed, hardly anyone will want to ride it anymore.
They'll think it's unsafe.

I had the same problem.
Then, I read the answer here.
Try double-clicking on the red light (the one that stops the ride).
This resets the ride so it will run again.
One of the good things this group did for me!
Good luck!

Hello. I'm a relative newbie to Roller Coaster Tycoon, and have worked my
way to Big Pier. I can't seem to figure out how to build shops/stalls on
this one (all water except for some pre-built paths). Can anyone give me a
hint? My guests are screaming that they're hungry, and I need to feed them!

Thanks!

Huh... Usuaully, I've seen if you just plop a shop on water, it'll
build level with the path... Just with pillars and supports
underneath. If that doesn't work, you could always raise a square of
ground under where you want the shop.

You can build them normaly. You just have to build them on the water, they will
be at the same level than the paths...
