(NS- Oooh, figures... Heh, I love this kind of stuff XD)

"...Could've gotten us KILLED-"

"Okay, okay!" Satori shouted. "I get it! No more ghosts!"

"Thank you!" Neji exclaimed.

"Now, I sure hope Cynthia is still there, she seemed to be smart..."

"And what about this whole Gym Leader thing? The Elite Four? Makes no sense, if you ask me..."

"Obviously these people are different. Did you see their outfits?"

"That's true... Hey, can I see that map Cynthia gave us?"

Satori handed it over, and Neji opened it up. He stared at it for a minute.

"What?" Satori asked.

"Well, those lakes are spread out everywhere, and one of them is up way in the north, and seeing as we don't have our winter clothes, or much else for that matter..."

"Gee, when I get back to Johto..."

"Everyone'll treat us like heroes after all this trouble trying to get back."

"Your grandma's gonna love this story,"

Neji laughed. "She's a sucker for stories about the legendaries,"

Once back in Eterna, the two tried to locate Cynthia, but she seemed to have gone.

"Guess we'll just have to figure it out ourselves," Satori mused.

(I'M BAAAAAAAAAAAACK! XD)

"What in the...?" Satori wondered. "Mister?"

She got no reply.

The two ran over to the strange blue-haired man, who was out cold. He was sprawled on the ground as if he was dead, though surely he couldn't be.

"Gee, he doesn't look good." Neji observed.

"Luckily for us, I've got a Blissey," Satori replied.

"Fearow..." Sora muttered. Inazuma glared daggers at her.

"Cut it out, you two!" Neji commanded. "Now's not the time!"

"I assume you know what to do, Hotaru?" Satori asked her Blissey.

"Bliiiiiiisss~"

Hotaru immediately set to work, using Softboiled on the man and checking his pulse. She bustled around humming various parts of her name in a seemingly nonsensical tune while she shoved a large rock under his head to support it.

"Amazing how they do that," Neji murmured.

"Why do you think people used her as a faux-Pokemon center?" Satori chuckled. "Handy little thing, she is,"

"Blissey, bliss!" Hotaru barked at Inazuma. Hebi looked at her like she had lost her mind.

"Arbok...?" Hebi sighed.

"Phar, ampha..." Inazuma reluctantly agreed.

Inazuma Thunder Waved the strange man, much to the shock of everyone else. The man's eyes flickered open for a short period of time before closing again, to which Hotaru used Heal Bell. He stirred awake with an utterly confused look on his face.

"What...?"

"Mister, are you alright?" Neji asked. "You collapsed,"

"Did I...?"

He slowly sat up, looking around confusedly at the two children and their crowd of Pokemon.

"Say, did you...?"

"Yeah, my Blissey and Neji's Ampharos took care of you," Satori replied. "Now, could you tell us your name?"

"What the...?" Satori wondered upon seeing the blue-haired man. "Are you following us or something?!"

The man turned around to look at them. "I could ask the same of you,"

"Satori, something isn't right here." Neji murmured. "I have a bad feeling about this."

"You don't say." the girl replied. "Well, I think you owe us an apology for being so rude after we saved you from whatever Giratina thing you were talking about!"

"Giratina, eh?" Neji mused. "Grandma's mentioned that name a few times before,"

"Perhaps so," the man answered Satori's question. "But I've had enough of this talk."

"Whoah!" Satori exclaimed as he produced a Pokeball. "A Pokeball! Those're rare! Where'd you get it?"

"Uhh, Satori, I don't think he intends to just show it off..." Neji's voice trailed off. "I think we've got a battle coming!"

"In that case..." Satori smirked. "Wanna double-team him? We've done it before,"

"Sounds fine, actually!" Neji agreed. "Alright, Inazuma! You're up!"

"Weavile, I choose you!" the man shouted, tossing the ball.

"Well, Hotaru, you're the only one without a weakness," Satori said. "You're up!"

"Weavile, Night Slash!"

"Inazuma, Thunderbolt!"

"Hotaru, Sing!"

(NS- Just imagine some random grunt sliding on screen with a stereo blasting that song XD)

"What?" Cyrus said, his eyes getting large. "I, Cyrus, the leader of Team Galactic, lost to mere children?"

Satori laughed. "THAT'S how you battle!"

"Wow, that was great!" Neji rejoiced.

"Don't let it get to your head." Cyrus advised. "If we meet again, I assure you, it will not be like this."

"Same to you! Wait... nevermind," Satori 'threatened.' "Well, we'll be stronger too!"

Cyrus ignored her and calmly walked out of the cave as if nothing had happened. The two could tell he was seething with rage, but didn't dare show it.

"Say, Satori," Neji said, "Remember Cynthia's grandmother told us that Celebi comes to that shrine in the center of the town? This might be our way out!"

"Yeah! Oh, if we can only figure out how to summon it..."

***

"WHAT?!"

"I'm sorry, but you simply can't get Celebi to come here. It only comes when it wants to," the old lady said. "Sorry to shatter your hope,"

"No, it's fine..." Neji replied. "I kinda figured anyway. Besides, this Dialga Pokemon is still in this region..."

"Well, thanks for your help," Satori said to the lady. "I think we'll be going now."

"Anytime, anytime,"

The two made their way out of the house, then looked at the map again.

"Well, since we came through Mt. Coronet, I guess we better go down Route 210... which apparently has a fog covering it now." Neji observed.

"Huh?"

Satori noticed her friend was staring off into the distance at the route, and sure enough, an ungodly amount fog was covering it. The very ground was practically invisible.

"Well, it could be worse... Remember that blizzard up at Mt. Silver? Thank goodness we weren't in it,"

"Yeah, I suppose you're right. Anyway, I had an idea."

"Yeah?"

"Well, from what we've heard so far, this Pokemon League everyone keeps talking about sounds like some sort of challenge. It'd make an interesting story for the folks back home if we took it on, whatever it is,"

Satori's eyes got bright. "Yes! I love challenges~!" she said with a smirk.

"Of course you do..." Neji muttered.

(NS- Well, I thought it might be fun if they got a gym badge or two.)

Since all we've heard of any of the new Pokemon's attacks are Nintendo Force claiming Chespin can learn Pin Missile, I personally suggest that be the only move Chespin knows for now. As for the, "Ninetales," bit, well... hehehe...]

You're jumping the gun a little bit. Having them appear is probably fine, but until we know what their attacks are, I don't think anyone should be training or battling them.

I mean, Misty had Togepi way back in the days before I joined, yeah, but she never battled with the little guy.

Actually, I'm pretty sure they're not even allowed to appear. I remember this rule because I subverted it twice before Black and White came out. Buffalo was an Aenarian Bouffalant (I simply didn't confirm what his species was) and the figure Mason met on the roof was meant to be either Zorua or Zoroark.

Since this place is practically a ghost town, I'm going to let this slide as long as Chespin doesn't fight or use any techniques. I doubt its name or appearance are going to change between now and October. For the record, however, this sort of thing isn't allowed, so please refrain from doing it in the future.
