> It wasn't too difficult navigating the route, as it was only a matter of crossing a few bridges and flat surfaces before hitting some grass. However, sitting in the grass was a rather angry-looking Scyther practically staring daggers at them.

(NS- Sorry it's taken so long to get this going again.)
"Wow, that Scyther looks angry." Neji observed.
"Yeah... Well, it's time to fight it, then!" Satori said happily.
"What?!"
"You heard me! It's part Flying, so you'd better let Inazuma help me and Sora!"
"Alright, let's do this, then...Wait, but-"
Sora and Inazuma couldn't possibly battle together, and Neji wasn't too happy about fighting a pissed off Scyther, especially with its blade-like forearms glinting in the sun. However, the Fearow seemed to be focused on beating the living daylights out of the Scyther.
"C'mon, it'll be good for training, if we're gonna take the Gym Leaders and all that stuff!"
"I suppose you're right," he agreed, "Go, Inazuma!"
"Sora, Swift!"
"FEAROW!" she roared, sending a barrage of stars at the Scyther.
"SCYYYYYYY!" the Scyther roared back, using Slash.
"Inazuma, Thunderbolt!"
A bolt of lightning rained down on the Mantis Pokemon, getting a cry of pain in return. However, it quickly got back up and used a Quick Attack on the Ampharos.
"That did pretty good," Neji mused. "Hey, Satori, you think we should catch this one?"
"Nah, I think we're fine for now. 'Sides, I just got Chespin,"
She glanced down at the strange-looking Pokemon who was now sitting atop Hotaru's head.
"Alright, then," he replied, "Inazuma, hit it again with Thunderbolt!"
"Sora, Aerial Ace!" Satori commanded, "Never mind that it has a resistance; it does against all but Hotaru... I think."
Again she glanced down at the little Chespin. Was it a Grass-type? She thought so, but there was no telling for sure.
"ScyyyyyYYYYYYYyyyyyyYYYYYY!"
One moment later, the Scyther unleashed a Hyper Beam on both Pokemon. Their trainers stared.
"HOW does it know THAT?!" Neji exclaimed.
"This thing's a beast," Satori replied. "Sora, hit it again!"
"Same, Inazuma!"
"But what puzzles me," said Satori, "is how those two aren't pummeling each other instead of that crazy Bug."
One attack from each Pokemon later, and the Scyther laid knocked out in the grass.
"Oh, nice!" Satori complimented.
"Gee, you two did-" Neji started.
However, their two Pokemon set to arguing in their unintelligible Poke-language.
"FEAROW!" (It was ME who knocked it out!")
"PHAR!" (No, you dunce! It was me!")
"ROW!" ("LIES!")
"PHAR AMPHAAAA?!" (Who're you callin' liar?!")
"And here I thought they'd made progress..." Neji mused.
"I know what you mean.." Satori agreed.
TBC!
(NS- Well, that was fun.)
