...within the next 2 1/2 quarters? And it would be great if Bioware
could move the scenario into another part of the realm. Getting tired
of the Savage Coast areas in their games.

Also, what would everyone like to see in future addons/major patches
for NWN. Maybe a Never Winter Nights 2.0...

I'd like to see more monsters, tilesets, fixes for the various
exploits found, more character portraits, a major upgrade of the DM
client (And the addition of a PC Character Leader mini-client to
initiate votes on when to camp, so time can pass normally in 1 party
games as well as voting on major party actions, etc.) prescripted
events and items such as secret doors, mechanical and *moving* traps,
more spells, etc.

Anyone else?

I know this is jumping way way ahead of the gun, but I'd also like to
see a major revamp of the Aurora Engine in terms of graphical effects
to also include a 1st person perspective point of view. Maybe this
could be done in the sequel to NWN. 'Waterdeep Winds' anyone? :-)

I'll be extremely disappointed if there weren't:

New tilesets
New Feats
New Skills
Epic Characters (& Feats, Spells, and Classes)
Prestige classes

In fact, I was pretty disappointed these weren't made customisable in
the editor. Other than unique features (such as wildshape), everything
else for all of the above could easily be represented in an object
model, and customised at will.

Just because WOTC have released epic rules doesn't mean it'll come
anywhere near NWN any time soon. After all, prestige classes were in the
3e DMG, and they're nowhere to be seen.

Bioware has hinted that there will be an Epic Level add-on.

How about a male character portrait (just one would be enough) that
can't be described as effeminate, hillbilly, pretty-boy, psychotic or
"grizly old guy"?

The only decent ones were a couple of the half-orcs (but not the one
with the fez - all I could think of was a deep grizzly voice asking me
if I'd like poppadums with my curried goblin), the bald guy whose face
you could barely see (though he still looked a stereotypical killer -
eg Cyrus in Con Air) and the one with a huge helmet - he only looks
decent cos you can't see his face at all. If you could, the helmet
would probably look quite silly.

The female portraits were far better - probably because they're often
*supposed* to look effeminate....

-Tancred, who'll stop ranting now.
