My wife and I are looking for a game that is similar to NWN. We want
to be able to play with each other as NWN does via our home network.
Is there anything similar out there or are we stuck to join one of
these bazillion player on-line networking games? Thanks in advance,

TSS

One option is to use the created modules. there are hundreds out there
that are resonable and quite a few that put the officil campaigns to
shame. I can't recall the name of the site that has them as I haven't
played NWN in a while.

NWNvault.com I think. There are a lot of modules, but very few are any
good.

If they want something after NWN, what about NWN2?

Best wishes

*thousands* of modules :-) roughly 3,500 or so, give or take a
thousand.

You can search this list's archives, we've listed some of our
favorites (everyone has their own personal tasted in mods, of course,
so some of us like one, others hate it). Other good places to check
are th NWvault Hall of Fame (HoF) modules (I'd suggest newer
submissions first; some are older modules that won't work with the
latest updates), and on the NWvault, there is also a list of
"overlooked" modules that has some good stuff but haven't gotten
enough votes to make HoF.

You could also search for multiplayer only modules

some caveats -

some modules work fine for multiplayer, but haven't been tested for
it, so you'd miss those on a search

Some modules are series that are incomplete, and have been abandoned
by the author... they're still great modules, fun to play, but you
never see the end of the story :-(

Why not one of the many NWN persistent worlds?
