I have Win XP on my C drive and FS9 on my second drive. Which is the best drive to locate the VM or paging file and should I fix its value or let Windows manage it?

Nvidia drivers

I'm currently running Nvidia driver 182.06 for my 9600GT card in Win XP. My card manufacturer, XFX, has put up 186.18 on its website as the latest driver. Has anyone used this and is it worth updating please?

I just did a reinstall of FSX to see if I could get the frame rates up. I had SDK before, but it did not re install itself. Is that something I want? What does it do? Also I now find buildings where there used to be taxi ways. Is there a way to tell if you have all of the SP's that I should have. I... more »

Hey gang, So yesterday morning I flew a short flight in FSX for the first time since March. One thing I noticed, my terrain at the airport seemed rather grainy to me, and I had a good amount of shimmering. Well, I took your advice and downloaded Nhancer to help beef up my Nvidia GTX280 video card. I read most of the stuff and hit the download button. I then spent an hour or so figuring out which buttons to push to set it up. It all went very well, I thought. Easy download, easy installation, sweet looking program.... more »
