Has anybody else had trouble with the stock scenery at KATT? The stock ATC window won't list any runway numbers and activating R/C just dumps me in in the drink at the intersection of the Equator and the Prime Meridian. I can't remember ever installing any other enhancements, down there. TIA... more »

Fellers, I'm not plugging this site but I do get emails from them and this P-51 is on sale. I downloaded and installed and I like it.
Details are nice, the sound package is not as good as A2A P-51 but all in all, the plane and the liveries are quite OK. You might want to check it out.

As Memorial Day approaches, I would hope that all could take a moment
to honor all our missing comrades, leaving out the borders, politics,
ideologies, etc. Just a time to pay respect to all who have made the
ultimate sacrifice across this planet, and to the grieving family

The old news group microsoft.public.flightsim is still alive on usenet. I just
made a test post to it and it worked. I saw a post made by someone in this
group that was made back in 2005. The last post besides mine was made in

Flight sim computer requirements

I asked this once several years ago, but I need to ask it again. What
are the absolute mimimum and the preferred hardware requirements to
run the latest Flight Simulator well. Graphics card, CPU, RAM, etc?
And would the experiece be any better with a two monitor setup?

One thing that I've always found disappointing in FS is the look from above of haze over land formations. Hills and mountains appear to be poking up through a pool of liquid white sky that I guess is supposed to be fog or haze.
