But all of a sudden, all my local home turfs are as fine as ever, but all
neighbouring countries are made from big squares, looking all wrong and
.....well a bit taggy.......WTF???
Tryed deactivating all the latest add-ons, but nothing, removed all add-on
sceneries, but no, un-installed every thing but FS9.1, no help........Sigh.
Un-install all FS related, including the kitchen sink, and started from
scratch, one short flight so far, most of Denmark is back, a few bridges are
still missing, Germany is starting to look right, need to re-install a few
airports, Sweeden is ok looking, only mesh is installed, starting to get all
my favorite A/C's back in the hangar, a bit of traffic is starting to
appear, but man, do I have a lot of add-on stuff :o/
Right now I'm wasting time on cleaning up my add on folder, to get rid of
all the old stuff, which I no longer use, old versions of FSUIPC, Sceneries,
AFCAD's etc. :o/
Am I the only one who forget to delete the old versions of stuff, after
downloading new models? Or is it the ressult of having more hard drive space
than ever, there is no need to do the household bit, except when you have a
hard time figuring out which file is the one needed, and which is just a
dust collector?
Good thing it will work for the next year or two, before I have to look into
that folder again :o)
My plan for when I retire, is to give my photo folders a bit of cleaning,
sorting and renaming, if I get the time ;o)

Are you working with FS9? Apparently so.

It's best to install each add-on step at a time, and test them out.

Best to keep everything organized as you go.

What about FSX? I have a rich environment now of terrain, weather, AI
and some good AC to fly and an exterior hardware panel. Even dabbled
with VATSIM some.

Hmmm... sounds like PSP9. :))

Which is why it takes a full weekend to install just the basics :o/
Disc clean, defrag, FS9, defrag, 9.1, defrag, test flight, FS-Global,
defrag, test flight, Scenery 1-95 with a test flight and defrag between
each, Active sky, defrag, testflight, all the AI-traffic, tests and defrags,
all the A/C's etc, etc.......
Most of my EU sceneries and traffic in place now, the F-14 and a few
carriers, now I only need all the rest :o)

Knowing a few Danish women, I'd most certainly watch it! ;-)
