How do you use (if any) speed brakes on the F/A-18's? When I land, I end up
sliding all over the place when I apply my brakes.

What is your approach speed? What is your Speed at touchdown?

If an airplane is still in one piece, don't cheat on it. Ride the bastard
down.

If you're faced with a forced landing, fly the thing as far into the crash
as possible.

I normally use sb to slow to under 200k to deploy flaps on final then
keep them
out unless my speed decays too much. I normally td around 140k and try
not to float
she needs alot of runway to stop.

The speed brakes are between the two rudders and they have to be open before
touchdown to
keep the landing speed. Idem for F-15 and 16.
