Found this on Youtube. Now this guy has got massive AI traffic. Here is a
well produced video to demonstrate the AI movement.

It's good, but it doesn't really take months to fill up an
airport.

OK, and how much flying will you get, in a FS scenery like that?

First you file a short local flight, fill the tanks of the 777 to the max,
wait on the radio for a break where you can call in for clearance, wait an
other 25 min for taxi clearance, spend 1/3 of the fuel waiting in line for
the RW, wait an other 20 min. while waiting for the next 85 AI's to land and
clear the RW, spen 10% fuel on the trip, and the rest making endless go
arrounds because the AI's are soooo slow to clear the RW, and finaly you
crash because you ran out of fuel. Now why would any one want that? :o/

It looked nice though, and if you are into just sitting at the ramp, doing
plane spotting, then this is the way ;o)

Though don't we think that that although impressive there is actually too
much traffic there?
I have never seen such line ups in the real world waiting for clearance, not
even at EGLL.

Well.. my FSX is working GREAT (just a bit slow in the CPU/FSB areas)
and each night of flying is yet another adventure. Will be posting some
screenies later, but the topic here is AI traffic.

With a bunch of World of AI installed, and after landing KSFO around
9:30 or 10 AM (FSX time) from Medford Oregon, I sat on a taxiway and
watched dozens of AI come and go. They weren't orchestrated too well,
as many flights sat at intersections for a LONG time. One Frontier
aircraft sat on Rwy 19L at Taxiway F1 for over 15 mins before exiting
right. It caused a LOT of go-arounds. Many AC were rolling out taxiway E
and departing 19R, some four AC holding short in line waiting to go.
They had to taxi out interleaved with departures along 28L (crossing
28L at Taxiway E.)

AI Smooth kept sounding off.. but I don't quite know what it's doing
yet. It was really fascinating with AI slider set to 50%. There were
three runways active for arrivals, and two active for takeoffs. My twin
turboprop got into the approach pattern with no trouble, and with no
overtakes. One 737 taxied close-by. It landed Rwy 28R, crossed
Rwy 28L on Taxiway L and stopped. I could here it's engines whining
from inside my cockpit. After about 10 mins it simply vanished!!

One more issue was.. when panning to look at one runway (or the
terminal), then back to the Active (for TO's) the AI textures all had to
regen. Does that mean video card memory is lacking?

I think it's time to get into the AFCAD area now because things are
much more like REAL. Maybe even edit and compile some AI. Plenty
to do with FS!!
