As Memorial Day approaches, I would hope that all could take a moment
to honor all our missing comrades, leaving out the borders, politics,
ideologies, etc. Just a time to pay respect to all who have made the
ultimate sacrifice across this planet, and to the grieving family
members who've endured this burden.

That's the first time I've seen that, Prop, very poignant.

Yes, let us remember all those who made the ultimate sacrifice for their
various countries.

I get a pop up that I don't have the proper plug in to run it, but I
don't need it to get the message. Agreed 100%!!!!

Bear in mind, a lot of those folks signed up voluntarily with the
intention of shooting someone else. The point being do not encourage
your kids to join - they are not heroes, but victims of our polical
leaders intransigence, not west nor east, north or south- but our
mankinds. Our willingness to enslave others and ourselves to be
enslaved by preachy concepts and ideals.

( I do not mean to sound disrespectful; but the media insists on
calling victims heroes encouraging more lambs to the slaughter)

That is a very strong statement to make, raamman, and you will find it's not
entirely true. I certainly didn't join up with the INTENTION of shooting
someone else, but if the need arose, I would have done what I was trained to
do.

Then you have all the support units, who outnumber the "Teeth Arms", such as
medics, cooks, vehicle/aircraft maintenance, transport etc. Doctors for
instance, signed up to save lives, not take them.

As the OP doesn't want this thread to go "political", I will leave it there.

I guess you missed the point about not going political with this!

My apologies to the rest of the group members.

Hmmm, strange one. My error didn't say which plug in was missing, and
being positive I have flashplayer, checked Program Files 86, and there
it was, with an Oct 2011 date. Maybe needed a refresh, so I went to
adobe and they said my Google Chrome automatically updates flashplayer,
nothing needed. But, still no joy on the OP link. No big deal, since
this is the first time I've seen that error, and maybe the last??

what soldier voluatarily signs up not knowing that their job's main
focus is to kill others ?

Im sure there are lots of great "tributes" (con job propoganda for the
living- if society were sincere in it's respect it wouldn't treat the
disabled vets so poorly would it ?)

With all due respect sir, please butt out and start your own politcal
thread!

I guess you forgot about the part about freedom of speech

If you'll look at the 'conversation lines,' you might notice that my
post was not a response to yours. Please save your
squalling-liberal-brat-tantrum for those with whom you are actually
conversing - if such exist.

I haven't forgotten...nor have I forgotten why we have that freedom.
It's one of those things we all enjoy... thanks to those who you
detest that have given the ultimate for!

As I said...you are FREE to start your own politcal thread.
