MAME-specific p2p web page or client?
|
| |
Hi I have been out of MAME scene for sometime... Two years ago or so I seem to recall a MAME ROM site which offered all MAME ROMs and CHDs through a p2p network. I don't quite recall the specifics, but I think the idea was that first you were supposed to run ClrMAME with exactly the same options as the web author (to make sure you have exactly identical ROM sets),... more »

What game is this!?
|
| |
It was on an older 16-bit like sega, and it was a fighter jet viewed from behind that was fighting aliens and monsters. One of the monsters was a phoenix that rose from the earth. I think another was a big worm. It had gread cinematic feel and rendered well. There were also cut-scenes of the pilot kind if like "wtf is this monster".... more »

After searching on google, all I could find was someone saying that it... more »

How to get the PC inside the cabinet?
|
| |
Hi, I'm just trying to reconfigure my existing cabinet to fit a PC inside it. Just wondering how you guys went about building a cab so that the PC is nice and tidy inside it. Looking at the way it is laid out inside I am going to need a very small PC. Thanks zeebop.

Modern sequel to Donkey Kong?
|
| |
Well I saw sequels to Space Invaders and Galaga (not necessarily for MAME) and thought people still like those games to make them. Today I was reading the Donkey Kong page of Wikipedia and wondered if there were sequels to it. Not Donkey Kong Jr. or Donkey Kong III (latter sucked IMO). More like "new" games, so from 1990 to today.... more »

Well it would be Sune's birthday today, and last week it was Morfius. But I decided to remove those from my calendar not posting here at least *one* a year (to eat the pie ;-). Have a good one though, both of you.

Need to get up to speed with MAME again.

Hi, I used to play around with my cabinet quite a lot but havent touched it in a while. I want to update it and would like some pointers. - What is a decent gui front end designed for cabinet use? - Is there a website for general MAME chat and resources? To get back up and running I guess I just need:... more »
