Actually Mormans and Mame are closely related. Both use Roms. Mame to
allow gameplay. The Morman church to gain some sort of legitamacy
through election of one of their own to (very) high office. Both are
based around the idea of 'multiples' though neither officially/legally.
Mormans, multiple wives. Mame, multiple roms. (And let's not forget the
multiple Romneys seen on the recent US election campaign trail.) The
Morman Church says that this multiple wives idea was just some sort of
historical circumstance, and Gody has since told them one wife is
enough. There are (cough) no Mormans out there screwing around with
multiple wives. Mame developers likewise say that Mame is just (cough)
historical documentation and no one is out there actually playing roms.
Mormons were founded by Joseph Smith who sunk his wad into multiple
wives, and no doubt there was probably some social-retard kid called
Joseph Smith in the 1980s who probably didn't, but at least managed to
sink 1000s of coins into multiple arcade games. Then there's the music.
The Morman faith is famous for it's church services where the church is
filled with the most uplifting choir singing. Mame has City Connection.
