I have a Mame cabinet, with XP pro, and high end Nvidia dual display
card, Mame32, Maximus Arcade frontend.
I have a large CRT primary display, and a small 15" LCD parked atop
the cabinet. I want to use the LCD secondary display in Future
pinball as the backbox display with the pinball playfield displayed on
the bigger monitor. (both displays default to 1024x768). When I play
MAME and other games with only one display, want to use the LCD up on
top as a mirrored display so onlookers can watch the gameplay
unobstructed. I can't leave the monitors in Mirrored display mode, so
I need a command line method of switching display modes for the pair
of monitors (mirrored/cloned and shared workspace).

Anyone have a solution? Within Maximus Arcade, there are command line
inputs that can be run before and after a game is selected.

Not sure, but I use Ultramon for sending stuff from my PC (Hulu, movies on
HD etc) to my (very old) TV. You can setup shortcuts. I just hit Ctrl+Alt+M
to send current open window to the TV and return it to the PC.

no, sorry, it only adjusts resolution. What I wanted to do was switch
between dual mode and mirror mode. I need dual displays when running
future pinball, and mirror mode in regular MAME mode. Thanks though.

Yeah, agreed, all it does is mirror or switch between monitors and/or TV,
and the author charges $39.95 US.

I'm not sure. I may be able to create some profiles that can be
switched to and from in the command line with it. If so, I can
trigger those scripts to run before and after playing a Future Pinball
game. We'll see.
