I see a few posts from the last month or so, but this group does
indeed seem to have died a wee bit.

Just thought I'd pop in and wave.

/wave.

Yep, 75 and alive, Been busy the last few days doing 3 windows 7 CLEAN
installs and reinstalling all the data and programs, takes quite a
while. BTW win 7 is a keeper for me, Seems about umpteen times better
and faster than Vista.

Regards, Rene

I'm still here.
Actually playing HL2 again on a new Intel Quad Core PC (Vista( that I picked
up for my Daughter. I wanted to try Rainbow Six - Vegas on it but could not
get the online key to work. (I think I'll get discs from now on if it is
not a Steam game.)
Trying to determine how much smoother the faster PC. HL2 runs pretty sweet
but it never seemed to be he problem on this machine. I have noticed that
the load screens are quite a bit faster on this.
My next personal machine is either be a Quad core or the new i7. Can't
decide which.
this one is one of the smaller frame PCs. I must say, I like the unit in a
smaller package but I don't know how upgradable the thing is..

but, yes, I still check in here and lurk...

Yeah, I keep popping in and giving the occasional recommendation and
starting the odd thread.
