I'm looking to download and play a new mod (I've only the CS, TFC, Ric - the
standard ones).
Are there any cooperative ones so I can play together with my bro??
If so, which is the best? I've looked on PHL, but it doesn't say which
allows coop and are any good.
Thanks

WWII, americans versus germans. Good physics, good gameplay. So good
that valve have made the dod team a part of themselves.
Big download, but well worth a try.
The game is good, but unless you have a fast connect or a server down the
street, it's going to lag, jump, stick and occasionally killyou with a net
sendpacket error.
Otherwise, have fun.

Will that be okay? Or is the cooperative story on good?

LAN games are sweet if set up right. At my old EMS company, we'd get the
entire business office in on the act.

So DoD is actually a good cooperative game?

These are strange replies. First of all, DOD is a terrific mod, but it's
not cooperative although it is team-based. It wouldn't be good for only 2
players.
You do NOT have to have a fast connection for DOD or other Half-Life-
engine games, modems will work pretty well as long as you can get a
consistent ping. The HL netcode is probably the best there is. When I
played on a modem it was usually lag-free and I was a consistent top-
scorer.
Which other mod suits double-player mode?
Thanks
