I'M left Handed! All weapons are left handed! version 1.6

Hi,

All of a sudden, my weapons are all left handed. I didn't download any
models or anything. I looked into the config and it says righthanded 1
and it is right handed in the advanced options as well. I've noticed
that in first person view (both me and another player when Iam dead)
the players are left handed. However, take the same player in free
chase or free look mode, he's right handed.

Please let me know how to resolve this.

The weapons are left handed because you are, in fact left handed, this is
half lifes way of saying you are left handed.

Issue Resolved! Just in case anyone else experiences this issue, here
is what you got to do:

Go into the video config of the game and change the renderer from
software (or d3d) to opengl. Once I did that, I ran into another
situation in which the game told me that the specified format is not
supported (or something like that) and it will resort back to
software. To get past that issue, I had to download and apply the
latest drivers for my graphics card.

Now I'm right handed again. Thanks to everyone who responded.
