REPOST: Ultimate Game Music Quiz

The following is a game music quiz I came up with. Some questions are
hard, some are easy. I also try to cover alot of angles, so there are
technical music questions in there, as well as soundtrack CD questions.
Many have to do with Final Fantasy and Square Rpgs (most of which come
first) but I tried to cover alot of ground, so read all the questions
before you give up on answering anything.
If you have a question on wording, just ask, and I will try to ask it
better. I will post the answers in a few days, but if you want to know
the answers before that, just ask. There's no point to this quiz, but
it's all in good fun, ne?
Note: all numbering and names are for the Japaneese version unless the
title is the US one or I say otherwise. IOW, FF3 refers to the Famicom
game and not the Snes one.
So let's get started.
1. Who is the composer of the main Final Fantasy series?
2. Who is the composer of Final Fantasy Mystic Quest?
3. There is a little fanfare that occurs from time to time in FF 1-3.
What Snes FF also had this fanfare?
4. There are two musical similarities that FF1-6 all have that FF7
lacks, what is it?
5. What is different about FF5's versions of both answers to the above?
6. The Chocobo theme is heard in many different versions through the FF
series. What released FF has the most different versions?
7. What key is the Chocobo theme normally heard in?
8. What is the chord arpeggiated at the beginning of the second half of

Fire 3 share something unique. What is it?

37. Pitfall 2 is an example a game with original music. It did, however,
have one existing theme in it. What is that music?
38. What extremely popular arcade game has two acsending thirds (ie C,
E, D, F, E) at the beignning of it's main music?
39. Pooyan also used an existing piece for it's music. What was it and
who was the composer?
40. While games today pretty much all have original music, many still
feature existing music at times, even outside of the Parodius series.

If you refer to the thing you hear when you get an item or something
like that, I think that it's in FFV.

It's not FF6... not FF2 or FF3... Either FF5 or FF7. I think 7.

(I'm not sure about the spelling, I don't want to go upstairs and
