For reference, I just read a short summary of the plot of Assassin's
Creed (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Assassin%27s_Creed).
Apparently, this game also deals with potentially religiously
offensive material (depending on one's viewpoint); perhaps this may be
the reason for the (admittedly) strange reaction of the store clerk
and manager.
I don't think this issue is about "how strict stores are getting with
buying video games"; rather, it seems to be about how idiotic clerks
who sell video games and their managers are getting. This manager
makes most pointy-heads seem intelligent by comparison!
