How do you equally level up your party?

Hi all,

How do you level up all your characters with equal experience, ie. you are
only allowed to have three members in your party, so the others don't gaion
the experience to Level Up?

Do you have to switch party characters during battle?

I only have four characters so far, what happens when you have six?

Do an experiment, have 3 characters enter a battle, have them all attack
a mob, switch in the fourth character have him attack. Win the battle,
do all four gain xp? If so the easist way for all characters to gain
experience is to switch them during battle.

One technieques I've found for equal level gain:
Assign Each character a role eg one direct attacker, one healer, one
black mage, status attacker... Give you a reason to switch party
members. The roles can rotate around.

Don't forget to make use of the random encounters for training.
