The newer the server, the fewer players are on it.
>Also How do the PVP server works?
PvP server works very well. There seem to be three major types of
play evolving. Note this article contains sweeping generalizations to
which there are many exceptions.
In the southern areas (trolls/ogres) the game is highly co-operative.
There are probably fewer then ten player-killers in the entire
population of trolls ogres and resident dark elves, and we all know
them by name.
In the elven lands, an uneasy balance has ben found where most people
are co-op, but there is the occasional bad apple that spoils things.
A mini race-war between Gnomes and Elves seems to be a recurring
nightmare, despite the fact that it makes no sense whatsoever in terms
of the game design. A much more explainable race-war is ongoing
between the dark elves and halflings.
In human areas (including Erudin), which is most of the rest of the
map, chaos rules supreme. Every third player is a part-time pkiller.
Pkill gangs are forming all the time. Group with a few strangers, and
within hours you'll be "at war" with another opposing group. The
weird part is that the groups are very fluid. A guy who was your
mortal enemy yesterday might be fighting on your side today. Frankly,
I find this style of play detestable. But, hey... whatever floats
your boat.
I have never played in the dwarven or barbarian lands, so I can't
comment on how they are developing. Overall, it is nothing like the
PK-fest that UO was. It certainly isn't the same as a nonPvP server,
but it does offer an interesting and exciting game.
>Is it a Temporary or Test Server or is it Perm?
The test server is permanent. That server is where new stuff is added
first.
