So without further blather....
A word of warning...this fellow is popular, and his life has been in a
little upheaval lately, so if you order from him, you might have to wait a
while. Many think the wait is worth it though. Oh, and he does have a
referral program, so if you do order from him, mention my name. ^_^ Or
not. It's all good. I just think the guy deserves whatever business he
can get, because he's not only a talented artist, but a very very decent
man.

Argh, I keep forgetting to include things. I wanted to also say that
Evan's work is best when you *do* give him extra details. If you just
send him one screenshot of your character, the final product won't look as
good as if you say "I want my hair this style, and I want this kind of
pose", etc etc. I think he gets a little tired of same-old, same-old, so
when he gets something new and different to try, he really goes wild. The
best pictures I've ever seen him do are, oddly enough, mine, Rakyn's, and
Crydee Ossirand's. And I know Crydee also put in a helluva lot of request
for detail.
Hmmn - I cannot help thinking he draws the eyes too far apart and positioned
to high on the head...

My personal opinion is that my own comission's face is one of the best
I've seen him do, which was an immense relief for me. I think Foxeye's
face is pretty in her almost-anime way, which isn't true for all of his
portraits. I've always conceded that armor detail and lighting, and a
general sense for what the artist wants, are his strong points. Since I'm
personally big on clothing/armor looking right, I would choose his style
over folks that do faces better but are blah on the details. Like I said,
you should see the chain armor on Rak's vah shir...I'll share it in a few
days for fun. It must have driven Evan as crazy to draw as it woudl to
make it.
