Is it possible that the new zone that is supposed to be part "Takish
Hiz" (SP?) that no one has seemed to find, could be like this? Anyone
found that zone yet?

It's really more a test zone for the new graphic engine but it does have
some semi-soloable content, though as you say, at higher levels things
become a bit too social to really solo well.
