Well I don't have the DLCs yet, but the core game requires steam to be
running but not online.
I still haven't let steam update to the latest patch because once Skyrim
was registered and the initial patching done (which it would not let me
skip) I haven't let steam online.
Too many mods in play to want to have some of them become unusable
because the game updated.
Already had one mod I downloaded not be able to be used because that
initial patching broke compatibility.
This is why I *hate* auto patching, I'd much rather download a series of
patches and choose whichever patch level suited me, not the company
(which basically means whatever patch is current when you first
install.)
